Outstanding service from the pre/op call, through the check in process before my procedure. and finally providing me with kind assistance to my awaiting driver.

I was the first patient of the day so no crowds no delay no problems.

Like all people, I’m pretty particular about any procedure done on my eyes, but the experience couldn’t have gone smoother.

Now wait and see how the results turn out….

Terrible experience place was overbooked, wait time was 2hours plus.Dr. Acted like a frat boy with a superiority complex. Not to mention the unwanted pats to my shoulder like he knows best feeling. I felt sorry for the other seniors sitting forever. Don’t recommend at all.will take my eyes to a private practice. Felt like cattle being herded there. Good luck to future patients.

Great first appointment here! Fast, efficient, friendly and at the same time business like. Doctor Steinle was very welcoming, patient, and adept at managing a bit of anxiety and nervousness on my part. His explanations of the test results and high tech photos were accessible and understandable, and he was patient in answering my questions. Highly recommended office. Bravo!👏

My experience with California Retina Consultants was very nice. The staff was pleasant and the building is modern and welcoming. The staff is always polite and friendly. They run that office like a well oiled machine. Dr Steinle is just fantastic. He is the best at his job yet very humble about it. I am so fortunate that he is my Dr. He saved me from going blind in one eye. I will also be grateful.

Everyone here is professional and personable, so you feel like they really care about you. It's more like going to visit friends than going to the doctor. They all know their business and are excellent at it.
Dr. Steinle has really helped improve my vision since he diagnosed a stroke in my eye. Nothing can be done about that loss of vision but he did other procedures to fine tune the vision I have left. So happy I found him!

This office was professional and efficient. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. Alexis was so knowledgeable and alleviated my fears. Carlos was great at helping me through the process of getting eye pictures. Summer was so gentle and kind helping me get through all the rest of the eye pictures with contrast, and Amber was so calming for me. Dr. Stainless was amazing!!!! I was treated with the needle and laser and never felt a thing. I was so fearful to have the treatment done and right there and then it was done and I had no pain or problems. I am not fearful to see them again. They did a wonderful job. This recommendation comes from a retired critical care nurse.

Wonderful atmosphere! The ladies who work here treat all patients with respect and compassion. They are truly wonderful. Dr. Steinle is an amazing physician and he gives his expertise, time, and patience to everyone he cares for. You will not find a better ophthalmologist anywhere on the Central Coast!
