We can’t speak highly enough about Josh and his crew. They are complete professionals. Everything went extremely smooth from the beginning to the end. We’ve had our system for 10 months now. Our tru-up will be 0! Actually P.G.E will owe us. The true test of a company is how they treat you after they have your money. Our inverter just went out. I contacted Josh he got right back to me and ordered a replacement. In this day and age it’s not uncommon for solar companies to blow you off after they get your money. Or worse they go out of business then you are on your own. We can’t recommend Josh enough

Couldn't be happier with my choice. Josh was professional and responsive from our initial contact, through the entire process, and afterwards as well. Never had to wait for a response from him. He designed a system that meets our needs based on our past energy consumption and covers all of our consumption and then some. Exactly what I asked for when we spoke.

Out of all of the companies I was in contact with, Josh was the only one who actually spent time on my roof with a tool to measure our sunlight month by month throughout the year. Most others just sent me quotes using Google Earth images that were outdated and extremely inaccurate.

This is a big commitment and I did my homework and I am so glad that I found California Green Energy Construction. They are knowledgeable, dependable and give you the facts. Nothing shady about the process and they were upfront about everything I asked about without sugarcoating any of it. They are local and family owned which goes a long way in this industry.

The workers were always on time, polite and left it looking better than when they arrived. When I signed the contract, he provided an estimate for the install date and it was exactly what he said. He had all of the applications in before the job began and there were no delays in the approval process or getting connected to the grid.

I received weekly calls from my project manager Marci, who updated me on the progress of the permits and time frame for the install. I really could not have asked for a better experience and just wanted to share that for any others who are on the fence and thinking about it. DO IT!! Bye bye $400 monthly bills from PG+E. Good riddance.

A recent re-roofing project required that we utilize a solar company to remove and reinstall a pre-existing 20-panel solar system on our roof. We learned CGEC had done the original solar installation ten years ago and contacted them, relieved to learn they were still operating a thriving business. Josh Woytus met us immediately to review the work we needed and then provided a very competitive bid. We decided to take advantage of the solar removal/reinstall to expand our system by adding additional solar panels, and Josh helped us along that journey in a very professional and cost-effective manner. Throughout the project, Josh and his team were true professionals, handling all communication with the roofing contractor so the removal, and then the reinstallation (and expansion) went smoothly. We are completely satisfied with the high quality of work CGEC performed and would strongly recommend this company if you are exploring a solar system for your home or business!

We received estimates from several companies and CGEC had the best pricing. The install took just two days. Communication was excellent. We had our first power outage and it was so nice to have power from our battery to keep the lights on. We run off solar during the day and off our battery in the evening. I highly recommend solar and CGEC.
