In preface, I have never provided a written review of anyone's goods or services before today and will leave it to the wife going forward. However, in this instance I feel compelled.
My wife and I planned on adding Bermuda to the front portion of our property following very extensive landscaping efforts with the end goal of a unique approach to curb appeal. The area consists of several acres, almost 90 new multi-ton boulders and challenging slopes and contour. Our ability to water is limited to mother nature. Our soil composition (despite lime and fertilization) is poor. We considered multiple approaches to sod placement, conventional seeding with straw covering and hydro-seeding. Ultimately for many of the reasons listed, our decision was to hydro-seed. Through word-of-mouth referrals we selected Burns. None of our options were inexpensive but we believed that the product this company provided had the best chance for success. Chad's team was prompt and executed the plan, which had been detailed to us, in a timely and professional manner. Rain and sunshine were our friend, we were excited to see the end result. However, at approximately six weeks, the deliverable was not what I had hoped to see. I shared my feelings with Chad and in short order his tanker was back on site. Not only was his team here, but he was manning the hose. When I shared, I was prepared to cover the additional costs, he told me that his name and reputation were more valuable than the cost of the touch-up. I told him that if his efforts produced, I would do my part to promote him and his brand. I can say without hesitation...we have grass. My wife and I are very pleased with the decision we made and the provider we selected. If you are in need of a solution similar to our project, I highly recommend Burns Environmental, Inc.
