Bridges of Poplar Creek is such a beautiful venue and the staff are wonderful to work with. We booked our wedding in October of 2024 and couldn't be happier with the decision. Jennifer Fuller the sales and event manager was helpful every set of the way. The venue partners with a bakery (Central Continental Bakery), which was extremely convenient as this eliminated a step in our wedding planning. On our wedding day Connie was there every step of the way helping and making sure everything was perfect. Their food was amazing and our guests had only positive things to say. I highly reccomend their pretzel crusted chicken with the orange sauce, it's very delicious! We even had a guest attempt to track down the champagne used during the reception, as it was spectacular. The ceremony site was beyond my wildest dreams; to the beautiful colors from the trees, the waterfall, the charming gazebo and bridges to the helpful staff!

TOP TRACER....Located within the country club. Found out it does parties and just to hang out. There is food, drink, and alcohol available. Awesome game for kids to play and have fun on a beautiful day. It has heaters available for chilly days. Very nice atmosphere. Great customer service. Very clean with bathrooms available. ENJOY!!!

We loved Bridges for our wedding - especially the outdoor space! It was so beautiful! Connie did a nice job managing the dinner and the staff. And Jennifer was responsive throughout the entire planning process. I would highly recommend Bridges!

I always love coming here whether to play or (more often) practice. The staff makes the experience work. Must be good sound leadership on top because it trickles down to all the employees. They all seem to follow a pattern of being down to earth, sensible, calm, flexible, and just a pleasure to deal with. You never get a feeling like they're trying to "get you". Can't say the same for everyplace else although I must say after the pandemic everyone seems a bit more connected to the customer and also friendlier. No reason not to be. I LOVE practicing here but I don't wanna say why because I don't want it to become over crowded. Let's just say the place freakin RULES! I love Poplar. )

This is a message for anyone who's looking or seeking employment at "Poplar Creek Golf Course"

The job environment at the golf course maintenance is heavily influenced by favoritism, particularly from PJ, the Operations Manager, who fosters hostility and picks assignments based on personal bias. Workers are often forced into undesirable tasks, with the threat of being pushed out if they resist.

Dustin, the boss, lacks constructive feedback skills and resorts to manipulative tactics, including ultimatums and pressure to sign waivers for HR. The mechanic, Dave, contributes to a toxic atmosphere, often gossiping and avoiding actual work.

In contrast, Jim is a positive manager who actively engages with his team and resolves issues effectively. Overall, the job is labor-intensive, involving tasks like weed-wacking and maintaining the greens, but the toxic culture makes it unappealing. I wouldn’t recommend it—1/10.

O.B. on one side of almost every hole. There is water on 15 of the 18 holes making the course intimidating for high handicap golfers. Every par 3 requires carry over water. The rough can be comically tall in the fall, creating slow play. Staff is great.
