Bowling Green Health and Rehab is warm and inviting with experienced staff. My sister Lauren underwent brain surgery and came here for rehab a few years, she was treated with quality care and recovered beautifully and is still home thriving today thanks to the amazing rehab and nursing team. Another family member my grandfather recovered here after a heart attack and recovered as well. The admissions team is kind and very informative giving realistic expectations but going the extra mile to provide support. The social worker made discharge so easy and is very experienced and knowledgeable. The business office handled her insurance claims and billing effortlessly allowing us to spend the time we visited enjoying our sister. The activities team provides fun and socially stimulating events with many to choose from throughout the month. There is something that everyone likes and no one ever is left out, if it isn’t for the patients tastes they are not pushy and provide options and opportunity elsewhere. Janeen the administrator could run the country but luckily she chooses to be the administrator at BGH. Not only does she provide any and every piece of help she can, she treats her staff with respect and kindness and they work hard for her as a result. The lobby is inviting and clean with a warm welcome at every visit. The building is decorated to the nines every season or holiday to make the residents and patients feel at home while they heal. If you are on the fence about your family member coming here, or this was your only option you will not be disappointed, the nursing team and office staff care about patients and the physical therapy team is the best in the area hands down.

I had the pleasure of visiting Bowling Green Health & Rehabilitation Center a few days before Xmas. The administrator, Janeene Wood, allowed me to participate in a few activities with the residents.

Approachi g the entrance, I noted the well kept grounds. The grass and shrubs were well maintained. Upon entering, I was struck by how clean the facility was. No smell of urine or strong chemicals whatsoever. I could tell great attention is paid to upkeep. The holiday decorations, especially multiple Xmas trees on display throughout the facility were very nicely decorated.

The staff was all very gracious and their interaction with the residents was warm and nurturing. A few staff members even dressed up and visited with the residents. Oh the smiles! They weren't expecting visits from Santa and The Grinch. I was surprised to see them too.

The activities were well planned out and the residents enjoyed them. During bingo, winners got various Xmas themed prizes. There was also a coffee bar, a very nice touch. It was right in line with the day's activities theme, "Warm and Cozy".

My visit was quite enjoyable and I look forward to another. Many thanks the administrator and staff for such an enjoyable experience.

My therapy dog and I visit this facility. We interact with staff and many residents. The rooms are pleasant, and this is a very friendly, clean and well-maintained facility. The physical therapy department is impressive. Overall, if a loved one needed such care, I would be comfortable recommending Bowling Green Health and Rehabilitation Center.

The activities department is AMAZING! The staff is wonderful & nice; and they always try to involve everything in the facility! I highly recommend coming in and getting involved with the patients when it comes to the crafts and games!

Call me biased but the Bowling Green activities team is the best around! Tiffany and D are always up to something cool with the residents and always extend the invite to families and even staff to participate.. I know my kids enjoy coming to be a part of anything they have going on! And pets are welcomed too!!

I love going to the nursing home in bowling green they’re very warm and welcoming especially the activities department they’re real hands on with the residents and take the time to actually talk with them showing they care . They go out there way above and beyond. Really good staff hands down…I’ll go back anytime , even thinking bout volunteering sometimes . Oh yeah , check them out 😊

I'm vice president my church. and we contacted Debbie Evans to find wht could we contribute to assisted the. residents at the . facility Ms Evans emailed me a list of items that we could bring to the facility that people in the facility could use and she showed us the point of contact who we could leave the items it with on her day off. I really want to thank her for giving us the opportunity to help The residence is in our community in Carolina County Virginia thank you, Ms Evans and we appreciate all that you have do.

I heard rumor about the activity center, so I wanted to see for myself. It is nice. The people are a joy. I would definitely recommend this place to others. Five star all the way.
