Terrible customer service. The tech that came to install my hot water valve was terrific. I cannot say the same about management. The tech worked hard but in the end it was a bad part. Ferguson Supplies was wonderful and warrantied the part without question. Best-Tec's management charged me for the techs hours, including at least one hour on the phone diagnosing what was wrong. Once I had the new part, I called Best Tec at 2pm and asked about that they send a tech back to my home. I was told Tuesday (4 days) if I wanted the normal labor rate OR pay $375 an hour if I wanted someone earlier. I requested some consideration due to me paying their labor bill without question. It was very bad luck caused my problem. I offered to pay Best Tec their normal rate of $165 an hour to do the simple installation of the valve. I asked twice and twice told NO. I was shocked at how arrogant and mean spirited their attitude is. I wanted nothing free, just a break on hourly rate, especially after I had paid $495 and the problem was not fixed. STAY AWAY because if you have any problem, they will cut and run.

This company charged $165 to give me an estimate to fix the leak in the solar panels that heat my pool. Then they charged a small fortune to replace 4 couplings and patch a spot on the panel. Two weeks later my neighbor on the side of my house I rarely see informed me that there was water dripping from my roof. I called Best Tech to come out and check out the leak. They said that they would guarantee the work they completed , but if the leak originated from another spot (how would I know since I'm not seeing the work on the roof) there would be a charge for parts and labor. The workers came out and proceeded to begin fixing a NEW leak that was not part of the original work but didn't inform me as to the amount it would cost for the repair. When I discovered they were working without my knowledge of the cost to be, I asked them to stop and leave. The office called and informed me that they would use my credit card on file and charge me $165. Somehow they feel justified charging me to come out and assess their prior work. Customer service and satisfaction does not exist with this company. The receptionist is rude and uncaring. I'm livid, and I want to let everyone who is considering this company for services to run the other way! All they care about is taking your money.

Given all the sketchy reviews this company gets, one would think they would go the extra mile to ensure customers are happy with their work. After how I was treated I can only say they're a horrible company and warn others to stay away. They were not able to correctly install an AO Smith water heater (for $7000+) despite multiple attempts to do so. Eventually (based on information they provided to the manufacturer) the unit was found to be defective and the manufacturer authorized the return and exchange. Initially they refused to work further on the unit (despite being an authorized dealer / installer). After discussions with the manufacturer, they agreed to do it - only their availability was weeks out and they would charge and additional $1200 for the switch out. Additionally, the scheduler / receptionist was extremely difficult to work with and seemed to enjoy playing mind games around scheduling. One of the owners was extremely condescending once they decided they were going to wash their hands to make right the work they had done. All in all a truly awful experience- the kind of "you're on your own" treatment that gives contractors with integrity a bad name. I'm going to tell as many people as I can what my experience was and hope that the court of public opinion will provide appropriate consequences for their atrocious behavior.

Tech Jason was extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. His demeanor was professional the entire time, and took the time to explain the condition of the equipment, and got it running, then took time time to explain options down the road.

all the time they come in the lunch period, they never respect their own schedule, or they want to came after 5PM without ever calling to see if it is ok for you too!!! they charge a lot and to fix a water heater takes weeks!!! right now they installed the burners the wrong way the burners were to much out and the temperature on the tank was over 300F...and than they say they will come w/o me calling to schedule and next day no one showed up so when I called they postpone and now Friday instead of come according with the schedule time1-3PM they want to came when I am OFF after 5PM and to charge overtime!!!!! I am very disappointed! When you ask to speak with management "
