I've been meaning to write a review of this really nice place. (Better than the place on High Street) Emily was very helpful with her information about the landscaping stones and printed out the information with the prices and delivery fees. Jonah also was helpful with showing me the tree chainsaws with an extended pole. Elisah was the person who sold me the tree trimmer and was very kind and because of these three I will totally recommend this place to others. Their prices are much better than the place on High Street and BeeGreen is only 2 minutes away from High Street.

Amazing service and very friendly staff!

I've dealt with many companies that have rude and impatient workers on the phone, but this is not the case of Bee Green. Every staff member tries to help you and are always willing to answer any questions you might have.

Special shoutout to Nick, who I've been placing my orders with, and is always going above and beyond to assist and make the purchase experience to go smoothly.

Great Products &Prices. I was able to buy the black gorilla hair mulch or ground cover where many suppliers only carried the 'natural color.

Due to weather concerns I had to reschedule my delivery without a hitch. The delivery fees penciled out favorably as opposed to me doing several trips in my truck

The delivery was on time and the driver was polite and helpful in placing the load for me.

Joshua F has been an amazing, professional, responsive, transparent guy. He was patient with me, answered all of my questions and concerns in a timely manner. He was also able to make things happen last minute knowing he already told me to give him an advance notice. He was able to forward me all dumpster receipts for Cal Green builds so I can easily submit them to the portals. Great resource for garden and landscaping supplies.

If you walk in looking like a DIYer you’re going to get worse service than the contractors and pros who know what they’re doing but don’t let that stop you! The materials are better price and quality than Home Depot. You don’t need a truck for bulk stuff - they’ll bag it and price per bag.

Really great stuff for irrigation, bee keeping, landscape and yard tools, power tools, etc.

Good spot to get rid of your s***. A few tips:

The location given here (725 Independent) is for the C&D Yard, where you'll probably bring most of your stuff. But if you're bringing concrete, bricks, rock, dirt, shingles, or green waste, go to the second location a few blocks north on Coliseum, the Inert and Green Waste Yard (5900 Coliseum).

I sat in line for 30mins on a Saturday at the C&D Yard and when I pulled up they sent me to the other location because I was dumping concrete. I brought a load of bricks later. The good part: the rates are cheaper and there was no line.

I paid ~$110 today to dump two loads of concrete and brick, about 2600 pounds.

Wish I could give them 10 stars! And I wish I had known about them sooner instead of shopping at Home Depot for my landscaping supplies.

I just discovered them from a recycling forum I am in. And although they don't sell recycled gravel - their prices and selection of the new gravel can't be beat. Plus they allow you to take a few samples for free so you can take home to see if the color and size works. This alone is better customer service that you can at Home Depot. But it gets ever better.

Most of their staff is EXCEPTIONAL. I say most because there was a BIG difference in the staff at the counter in the morning versus the afternoon staff. Go in the afternoon and ask for Joe H or Feylin. Feylin was especially helpful because I was first time customer and was a bit overwhelmed initially and needed information to make my decision. Joe provided the back up when I came back later to place my order. The morning crew - maybe because it was 6:30am - was more like the staff at Home Depot.

But what really motivated me to write this review was because of the service I received from Keith who packed 28 bags of gravel for me. First, Keith agreed to do it near the end of this shift after working a long day. He was so pleasant and nice while packing these heavy bags in my carTo see how hard he was working - and once again with such a wonderful attitude - is type of customer that is practically non existent at similar companies. I asked to speak to his manager, Lalo to tell him how impressed I was with Keith

I was shocked that Keith and many of the other staff prefer to fill the bags of gravel by hand instead of using automated equipment. I hope Bee Green gives all the physical labor staff a gift certificate every month to get a full body massage!
