My power was out during the most recent storm when all of my neighbors had electricity. I contacted the BBVES after-hours emergency hotline on a Sunday. They answered right away and had a large team of guys come determine the issue within 45 minutes. They were prompt, knowledgeable, and although they weren't able to solve the issue (was on my end), they helped to guide me to the solution. Thank you, BBVES!

We put in solar and a new 200amp panel on Dec 4th. That was 20 days ago! BVES has still not put in the new meter!! We cannot turn on our solar till they put in the new meter! We are losing 20 days of solar power as they have not put in the new meter. 1. I cannot believe they are taking so long to do such a simple task. 2. I don't know why the linemen could not put in a new meter when they put the new powerline

Beware! Consumers can make a complaint to Clerk of the Board of San Bernardino County. Make sure your account is set up correctly, on my application and in person I told them I was a full time resident but that’s not how they set up my account and have been over charging me for months. They never notified me of a discrepancy and refused to correct it until I brought in additional documents. Even after bringing in the paperwork they still refuse to correct my account. This is crazy!

Literally the worst Utility company and “customer service” I’ve ever dealt with! A company that grossly revels in judgment instead of doing the right thing. BBB has received and will continue to receive information about this TERRIBLE GROUP OF PPL.
I’ve never had a company take a $350 payment on a CLOSED ACCT - then tell me “oh well, you should’ve stopped the payment”
The fact that this is out only option for electric service and there’s no actual corporate holding that they need to answer to, gives them the monopoly and the free reign to treat hard working BILL PAYING individuals however they see fit. With no oversight - the women that work here are disgustingly rude and caddy. SO UNPROFESSIONALLY TOXIC!!!
Just ick!! GO SOLAR! This is the worst utility co EVER!!!

The worst customer service ever! If you dispute your bill you are told to have an electrician come out. I did just that... all outlets and light fixtures are getting steady 110. My bill doubled from last year at this time for no reason, so I questioned it and was told that it's not their problem. I'm using the same appliances as I did last year yet my bill has doubled. I asked that the meter be calibrated and/or replaced. BVE says that is not an option. WHAT?!? According to the P.U.C if a consumer challenges the accuracy of the meter then the supplier is required to change the meter for comparison. BVE refuses to adhere to the P.U.C.'s rules and regulations. Oh... Nicole at the call center is the worst of the "customer service" people. If she doesn't want to hear it... she simply hangs up. As of this writing, I have yet to receive two promised call backs from a supervisor. BVE needs to go and Edison take over. I wish there was a no star rating.
