I am very happy with B&E Energy Solutions work. Within a day, we noticed the chronically cold rooms were no longer cold and the temperature around the house didn't drop as much when we turned the heat off.

We contacted them because we were looking for a home energy audit to take advantage of the tax credit. They didn't offer that as a stand alone, but as part of the work. Half the cost of the project was from a state rebate and the other half was covered by a 0% loan on my gas bill payable over 7 years. The best part was that they did all the paperwork and all I had to do to get this done was to approve with DocuSign documents.

They came in and did the work in a day. They found and fixed things that our other contractors over the years should have done, like having one-way venting for the kitchen exhaust, laundry, and bathroom exhaust. The only problem we had was that they had to move the laundry dryer to get the vent to work properly. A door no longer opened fully. I pointed this out and they ran the laundry dryer exhaust a different way and fixed the issue.

I'm very happy I had this done. I'm pretty sure it will pay off with lower heating and air conditioning costs in the long run.

Great install done by the B&E team recently! All in one day! We live in a house that was initially build in 1948 with an addition in 1985. Insulation was light… Upon arrival the team leader walked me through the details of work they were going to do. They showed genuine care for making the maximum impact to improve our energy performance and enhance comfort. The result so far is a clear improvement of home temperature: keeping it warmer when it is cold outside. (It’s early April when I write this. Temps were still in 30ties at night. From start to finish, everything was top notch. Bill was thorough in his home inspection; Kristin was very quick to assist with documentation, scheduling, and keeping me in the know; and the install crew was on time, put down drop cloths, respectful of our home, and completed their work within an 8 hour day. I wouldn’t hesitate to use B & E Energy Solutions. They have done 2 projects for me. The first was to insulate the attic and upgrade my heating and cooling systems. The second project was to encapsulate my crawl space and install a whole basement dehumidifier. The B&E crew did a very professional job with enthusiasm. They were courteous and efficient. The work performed did make my home feel much more comfortable and reduced my heating and cooling costs. I highly recommend this company.

What an AWESOME experience. Rich was great, his lead tech, Angel, is a rare find! Rich walked me through the process and quickly spooled up the quote. This was part of a whole home energy improvement upgrade. When the crew arrived, I was greeted by Angel, the lead tech. He efficiently walked me through the process of the day and within a few minutes the initial blower door test was done...or so we thought. Angel and I troubleshot the process, which lead to the MBR closet. Turns out my leak losses there was HUGE, and it was only due to his diligence in hunting down the numbers we were able to find this. The job came with some awesome bells and whistles - weather stripping an access panel and upgrading my dryer vent exhaust line which was something I was going to get around to but never did and was oh so needed. During the attic sealing, the boys were quite the chatty bunch - and that's a nice thing to hear a crew chatting away through respirators while doing some seriously tough work. Clearly some good vibes there. When it was time for the crew to leave, it was refreshing to see how excited Angel was to share the final numbers, clearly a man who takes pride in his and his crew's work. The crew left maybe 6 hours ago...it's night, and the results for us were instantaneous. My heater is running 4 degrees cooler already and the house is plenty comfy. 10/10 great experience from start to finish.

PS - Rich, if you're reading, tell the guys I agree it was indeed a Spider-Man rip-off.

The process was quick and seamless. The initial consult was thorough and Rich answered all of our questions. They did all of the leg work to ensure we got the PSEG rebate and the installation process was clean and efficient. Their workers were courteous and didn’t leave a trace that they were in our home!
