TLDR: Austin GMAT review + Application Consultant services are top tier. Scored in the 82% percentile and got accepted to 3/3 programs I applied too with scholarships.

I highly recommend Austin GMAT review for all your business school needs. I took the GMAT prep course with Dr Amar and he is one of the best instructors I've had. He breaks the test down barney style and covers everything you need to know. Every question I found on a practice test and the real test is derived from concepts he taught. I ended up taking the course twice, as the first time I wasn't able put adequate effort into studying, because I was still in my undergraduate program. Be forewarned, if you do not do all of the homework's and periodically review previous concepts throughout the course you will be in for a rude awakening when you take the GMAT. Everything you need to know is in the course, but its your job to retain it. Dr. Amar was nice enough to allow me to repeat the course a second time and I ended up taking the executive assessment where I scored a 155 (82% percentile).

In regards to the application consultant services provided by Elaine. I can't recommend her enough. I was on a tight schedule to apply to two programs within a couple weeks and she was able to fit me in. She spent countless hours helping me brainstorm for the essays, reviewing them, and editing them. The finished products were amazing. I routinely had conversations with her late into the night and she made her self available to me whenever possible. She was able to completely redo my resume for me and was able to identify things I didn't even think about putting on there. She also helped me with all of the short answer questions on the applications, how to enter my work experience and extra curriculars.

As a veteran, I used ServiceToSchool to apply to my undergraduate program, and while my ambassador was awesome, there was definitely a stark difference in the ability to provide information about the programs. Elaine's experience with different programs was invaluable, since she's helped so many students apply to these programs, she was able to tell me things that I was not previously aware of, such as different opportunities and in depth knowledge about the cultures/career outcomes etc.

Elaine's interview preparation was on point as well. She essentially nailed 95% of the questions that were going to be in the interview and helped me prepare my answers to them. The ones she didn't tell me verbatim were just slight deviations from what I prepped for and were easy to answer.

Elaine's consultant services are truly all encompassing, whatever your needs or questions she will go above and beyond to help. I can't thank the Austin GMAT team enough.

In conclusion, with Dr Amar's & Elaine's help I was able to get accepted to all the programs I applied too, (2x top 20, 1x top 10) with 50% scholarships.

Austin GMAT Review was instrumental in my test taking and MBA applications journey.

Dr. Amar has a detailed and proven methodology for attacking the GMAT and he is able to provide succinct and clear strategies for the entire host of questions that one might see on the test. He always made himself available for me to discuss any questions or address any concerns I had, which was an invaluable resource.

Elaine was amazing during my applications process. Whether it was her advice on how to present myself during interviews, her ability to understand my goals and aspirations for my essays, or her steadying hand during the tough parts of the process, she was always able to go above and beyond for me.

Ultimately, the thing that I really believe sets Dr. Amar and Elaine apart from anyone else is that they truly do care about the person behind the test and applications. I could not have been more impressed with their work and the results speak for themselves as I was accepted into three M7 programs.

I strongly recommend Austin GMAT Review to anyone looking for MBA test and applications counseling.

Dr. Amar and Austin GMAT are highly recommended. Dr. Amar’s ability to break down concepts to an array of students is remarkable. He helped me improve my score in a very short window. His knowledge of test tricks, patterns to look for a simplification of quant topics were very impactful in my studies. If you’re able to attend in person or virtually I recommend investing in yourself and your future with Dr. Amar!

Austin GMAT Review is well worth the investment. When looking at different GMAT courses in Austin, I had quite a few friends that recommended this particular class, and I'm glad they did. Dr. Amar goes above and beyond to ensure that each student is receiving the time and attention they need to be prepared and score well on the exam. I had a score of 620 prior to taking the class and was able to increase my score to a 670, which has successfully gotten me accepted into a top 25 MBA program. My success in raising my score is largely due to Dr. Amar's genuine time and efforts spent to ensure that I had everything I need to be ready for the exam. The classes are very well structured and there are plenty of opportunities to get all of your questions answered. I would highly recommend this class to anyone preparing for the GMAT.

Dr. Amar and his team at Austin GMAT Review are the best in the business. I would not have been able to improve my score over 100 points and get admitted to an M7 program without this teams assistance. Anyone who is in need of a more structured studying experience and comprehensive approach to this beast of a test should utilize Austin GMAT.

Sometimes some decisions can change your life forever. My decision to enrol to Dr Amar’s class is one of those. Dr Amar’s teaching methodologies are unique and very effective, easy to understand with no jargon. Classes are very interactive. Even though the classes have many students, you will never feel lost. More you participate, more you will learn new concepts. The best about Dr Amar is that he is easily reachable. If you need genuine help, you will get it. After attending classes and the way he suggested me to prepare, my GMAT score increased by 90 points. If you are in Austin, then don’t waste your time, energy and money in any other GMAT prep classes. Another big advantage of enrolling to AustinGMATReview is that you will get chance to work with Elaine for MBA applications and interviews. Her immense knowledge and her editorial skills are amazing. I have had great learning experience while working with her. The best thing about Elaine is her honest reviews of essays and mock interviews. If your essays are off the track, then her response will say so. After having mock interview sessions, my confidence level went up. I think the list of probable interview questions she shared with me covered all the scenarios AdComs can think of. I can assure that if you work on Essays, applications and interview prep exactly the way she tells you, you will not be disappointed. I have received admits with scholarships from the two schools from wish list.

I had a phenomenal experience with Austin GMAT Review! Dr. Amar went above and beyond during every step of this course to make sure you understand the concept being taught. The structure of his class really proves that he genuinely cares about his students and their success. I've taken several online GMAT Prep classes and there's no comparison to Dr. Amar's course. Online preparation can take you down a rabbit hole of research that focuses on beating the test's algorithms instead of taking the time to learn the material that is tested. There is a lot of anxiety around the computer adaptive nature of the GMAT and I really appreciate that Dr. Amar focuses on the content of the test as opposed to the stressful details that you can read enough about on any GMAT Forum.

I was admitted into both of the programs that I applied to, USC Marshall & UCLA Anderson and I can honestly say that I could NOT have done it without Dr. Amar and his Prep course. BTW, I picked UCLA!

Dr. Amar offers an intensive GMAT prep course for a fair and reasonable price. Even though the course is conducted in a virtual environment, Dr. Amar fosters an engaging classroom environment while breaking down the material in a way for everyone to understand. As a busy professional myself, I appreciate how well this course caters to my lifestyle. Through this course I was able to prepare for the GMAT at a manageable pace and achieve a score that got me into my dream school. No matter how long you have been out of school, I firmly believe that Dr. Amar can help close your knowledge gaps and crush the GMAT.
