Been customer for 2 1/2 years. Recently found If you have a problem, office staff unfriendly and argumentative when you try to explain issue, and trying to charge for service on rented tank to correct leak that resulted during fill up. But we did agree on need to change propane companies. Explanation: Initial installation of 60 gal tank was great (may have been Davis Propane at the time) Technician was helpful explaining everything. Tank is rented so installer in responsible for tank. 2 1/2 years later, right after a refill 21gal. (35%) we had a problem smelling gas using fireplace that evening, tried again next day same result. Called ARD Propane, tech was sent a couple days later. Checked tank and connections said there was no problem. I had told tech I cleaned the logs in fireplace early in summer, he checked them, using air can blew first log off over floor / area rug, thankfully he agreed they were clean. Should have been more respectful of customer property. I had gotten much black soot falling off when I brushed / cleaned them outside earlier. Bottom line: the gas smell disappeared after the Tech service which indicates there was a problem, even though he said he found no problem. The company wanted to charge me for the service call which resulted from the fill up. We never accused anyone, we simply stated facts - let people decide. Actually after 2nd call to discuss $45 charge Mr Ard agreed not to charge us. But, he apparently changed his mind after picking up tank. We should have gotten a partial refund as tank was 74 percent full after tank pickup $75 charge. But we received no final bill. Mr Ard did get his payment in this way. It is unfortunate for this company. We are Christians, and wish Mr. Ard no harm, as they run a small business providing jobs and income for themselves, but you also have to be reasonable and fair, treat customers well in the way you speak and treat them. They are your business.

Technicians did an excellent job of installing my propane to my generator. They were professional and courteous. Price was fair and they provided me with an itemized statement so I know exactly what I paid for. That's the way to do business. Thank you!

Very disappointed by the owner’s lack of customer service and compassion. We were left without heat for 2 days after our propane tank ran out. When they came to fll it up, they discovered a leak and didn’t tell us about it. My husband found it on his own. When confronted, the owner refused to reach a reasonable agreement with us to make up for their mistakes. He actually denied any wrongdoing on their end. This is very sad for the Cochran community and we will be taking our business somewhere else.

Very bad service and way overpriced compared to the old company. Look elsewhere if you’re needing propane.
