This place steals from each person daily I wager. It’s worse if you are not Mexican or speak Spanish. The cashiers and people take out of every system they set in place. A lot of times even the weight is zeroed out while th conveyor belt is moving. Workers separate into unmarked bins of everything that is CRV >15cents and somehow only give people 5cents when they count PPV(3,4,5,6,7). Every time I have came here they steal from me. I lost $10 from the 1st receipt cashier to the 2nd where you have to redeem the 1st receipt and get an all new receipt with new numbers. The numbers change so photo the receipt you sign because the manager throws them out as you walk away but won’t give you a copy that you aren’t made to hand over to the Shell gas station/Apple five market to collect your money. The scam is the workers give symbols on a scrap piece of cardboard that is not understandable to the CRV redeemer nor does it convey any legible information . You then have your recycling ravaged; meaning everything 10c, 15c 25c, 30c and 50c is ignored as being counted separately for 5c (c=cents). These are sorted in unmarked bins flanking the attendances. CRV you have purchased in California is ignored if there is Spanish writing on the bottle identical to one in English ( electrolytes square drink plastic for example ). The workers don’t let you use one plastic and one aluminum collector conveyor belt at a time so if you miss a plastic Or aluminum item they throw It into someone else’s count not yours. Code enforcement for the city of Indio and law enforcement should regulate how many California redemption Recycles centers are taking money away from people. Especially the receipt fraud should be a basic audit. An average homeowner won’t notice the difference but somebody who recycles daily that loses $10 a day losing close to $100 a week and there are no supervisors or managers that abide by state laws to keep receipts to the end of the day to prove a dispute before violently disrespecting you publicly. They have to be right or they will tell you to not come back or go somewhere else- wasting time and resources because they scam enough people to not have to care. It’s a pity that you have to invest so much to keep your environment and Homeland clean only to have people take advantage for getting paid to be there. If my math is correct I would assume that they steal $1,000< an hour everyday from “chunk change” that adds up by every redeemer. The horrid part is in this civilization CRV merchants are referring to recycling centers that do not maintain standards of pricing or operation- just the lowest amount to get you in and out. No signs display anything current nor is their direction in any language period. You’ll end up coming here because there is nowhere else and they know it.

Yes these people are rude, if they are in the mood stay away, especially Francis she looks so unhappy with her life, she enjoys making your life miserable if she can . I honestly feel bad for her. Overall this place needs new staff, ones that are willing to provide friendly customer service.

Took my dad to do some recycling 5-7-24 9:30am. Just to get ripped off, the lady was throwing cans out of our batch of recycling that were not even dirty or anything. So money was stolen from my dad. Witch is illegal

Great service! All the ladies there do a great job at communicating with you. I have been taking my boys to recycle here for years now. The weight always matches for the cash they get so we have never had problems with that.

The whole place is clean. As I waited for the recycle side to open, I sat in my car & got to watch these amazing ladies clean bathrooms (I mean full on hose down, scrub sink, toilet, floors, walls!) Even the driveway area & pump areas are clean, as well as, inside the store. They are quick to serve the customer inside store & out in recycling area. Not very smiley but not rude either. Just doin' their job. 😊

Nice on the inside but if you bring your Recycling here BETTER PAY ATTENTION CAUSE THESE WOMEN ARE SCANLESS!! and short you if your not careful, today I had one large bag of aluminum cans and four of plastic bottles and she started with my cans before they all went up she started getting all pushy pushy insisting I go get started on my bottles and I said thanks but no thanks I'm waiting right here to get my correct number and she kept on asking me like as if I gave a Rats @$$ about what she was telling me to do so watch out they will get you!

I went to take in the recycle and had to go inside to get cashed out. They lady scooping the nachos, was stuffing them in her mouth at the same time. She would continue to scoop the chips in the bags. So very gross

Lupita is very unprofessional and has been cashing checks for an individual that the checks aren’t made to knowingly without even asking for id ever.. asked to speak to the individual above her and she hung up
The owner needs to replace unethical employees like her
