I've been coming here for 3 years to fill my travel trailer LP tanks monthly. The staff is excellent! They come out quickly without having to go inside, they are friendly, and payment is fast and simple. Prices are comparable to others or a little less than gas stations. I'll drive past other refill locations to come here for the best experience.

We had an issue with our tank and APE Fuels went out of their way to take care of our needs. We were back to work in no time at all. Extremely friendly and always returned my calls quickly. I arrived at the dock and was promtley taken care of. I will use them for all my LP gas needs in the future. A real family owned business.

I have an RV and stopped by their dock right before the 2011 Thanksgiving holiday. One of the owners stepped out to help and she was so friendly. Really made me glad I had chosen to go to their new location (which is only about 3 minutes from the I-10 exit on Ruthrauf). Support your small local business, especially when folks are as neighborly as the woman I met at APE Fuels. I paid $2.69 per gallon/pound - I'm not sure what the correct unit is for propane.

So I would not recommend this company to anyone. If I could give it no stars i would. They lied and tried to say their propane is $2.19 a gallon. When it is more like $3.40 $3.50 a gallon. They said for 125 gallons would be $380.00 that $760.00 for 250 gallons. Then when I switched company's because who can afford $760.00 for propane. They tried to say that the Regulator and pig tail was theirs, when in the Agreement we 1st started with they said that the Regulator and pig tail were included in the promotion. So when their guy came to pick up their tank he was very rude and told me to either pay for the Regulator and pig tail or he was going to take if off my new tank. So no they are not professional at all and price Gouge where ever they can. They get you into their company only to raise the prices right after you have them. Do not believe them when they say their propane is $2.19 a gallon. They lie and then be very rude about after it's all said and done.

Been with these folks for 10 yrs now. They have always been kind and willing to work with me. Thru tough times when I couldnt afford much, they were happy to come out and put the minimum reqd. I apreciate them and they apreciate me as a customer. You can tell that when you call and talk to them. Whn I called to chg adress and was expecting to get hit with a huge transfer of service fee or something, they were so kind. I'm not going to tell you what the ychgd me but they were the kindest of all the utility co.'s etc. They will continue to get my business. Ty Ape 🙂
