Never work with these people. They are liars. Mistakes made left and right. It’s been a year and we still aren’t connected to the grid. They do not respond to phone calls and ghost you, especially if you paid upfront. They got their money and are done with you. Unprofessional business practices and total scammers. They tell you what you want to hear when selling you on the system. RUN don’t walk away.

AO Energy sold My father a solar system using software they provided calculating the Kilowatt usage shown on his power bill history. This 20 panel system was also paired with a battery back up system.

It has been 2 years since the solar system was installed and it still has yet to function as advertised. Greg Atchley, one of the collective owners of AO Energy came out to my fathers house on 7/28/2022 to investigate the issue because Sunworks, who installed the system said everything should be functioning properly and it must be the Pomcube Battery that AO Energy manufactures. During Greg Atchleys visit, he informed my father that he does not have enough power to be giving back to the grid whatsoever. Mind you , My father lives alone and uses very minimal power. 20 panels should be enough to easily offset his power usage as the Software that AO Energy used to calculate the system configuration had shown it would. So as of now my father has a solar system that does not function at all. The solution Mr. Atchley stated, is to add more panels because the 20 he has aren't generating enough to give back to the grid at all. His power bill is still the same price it was when the system was installed and he now has a loan payment for the solar system that is higher than what his power bill was before all of this took place.

In My personal experience Greg Atchley and his team of associates or cohorts rather, employ extremely damaging and non fiduciary business practices that are harmful to their unsuspecting clients to say the least. As of now we are filing a lawsuit against this company for contract violation in the regard that they sold my father a product that does not do one of the things it was sold on premise of providing, leaving my father whom is on a fixed income in financial despair as a result.

Stay away from this company as the operators of this business only aim to mislead and scam you with the products and services they sell.
