I had my propane tank go out in January 2025 from the cold front. I called in at 2:30, asking for it to be filled day-of...my 10 month old needs the warmth. I was told Saturday, but instead got a surprise delivery at 9pm on that very Friday night. Unbelievable service and such awesome human beings, my faith was restored in the goodness of people again. Super super happy with their service!

Amicalola Propane has saved me a lot of money over the years. The company I am legally abligated to buy propane from has a price match policy and Amicalola always has the best price. I would use them if I could. I highly recommend them.

We have been using Amerigas since purchasing our home in Jasper since our tank was with leased with them and have had constant challenges with lack of customer service, gouging, junk fees and the list just keeps going on. We had a damaged line that we were unaware of and lost a full tank of propane recently. We could not even get Amerigas on the phone. So, out of desperation and knowing 20 degree weather was on the way we called Amicalola Propane. Not only was the pricing substantially better, they are local, someone actaully answered the phone and knowing our dilema they came out and located and repaired the line last night in the dark! As a small business owner I always want to support small business and keep it local when possible. They went above and beyond and Jason was a lifesaver and conuld not have been more responsive, helpful and with a smile the entire time! If you are in North Ga and sick of getting ripped by the evil empire I HIGHLY recommend giving the crew at Amicalola Propane a call!!!

I visited this business simply out of necessity. I was not looking forward to the visit based on some of the reviews that I have read here. I had two 30lb propane cylinders that I was told needed recertification and needed to have the valves changed. When I arrived I was pleasantly surprised be the friendly greeting that I received from the office team. Tim had me meet him at the tanks and could have easily just changed the valves and charged me because that it what I told him I needed to have done. Instead he took the time to ask me questions to determine how I came to that conclusion. He then tested the tanks and assured me they were safe and not leaking. He did not charge me for the recertification because I had the tanks filled. I appreciate the honesty in their business practices. Overall, I expected to spend over $150 in a less than desirable setting and instead I spent under $50 and had a very pleasant experience! Amicalola Propane has earned a new regular customer. Thank you!

The service team is amazing. They jumped through hoops to get my gas stove hooked up before Christmas for me, with lots of scheduling changes on my part due to unforeseen life events. Casey, David, and especially John went out of their way. I highly recommend this company, who treated my like a person and not just customer.

They show up unannounced then leave a note on the door say unable to reach the tank so I call the office and ask for them to call the day before they come and they call and leave a message say they're 5 minutes away and then didn't show up because I didn't call back in time and that's because I was at work and can only be on my phone when I'm on break and that is why I asked to call the day before and they didn't they just do things the way they want not what the customer wants.
