It took a while (about a year) before my electrician could install my American Rotary Phase converter. The unit has lived up to every expectation that I had. I absolutely adore my adx10 phase convertor. I’ve had it for almost 4 years now running on my press brake. When Covid lockdowns hit I could not get an electrician, and at the time I had never even wired a house outlet as I was staring at my brand new press brake. The American Rotary instructions were so easy to follow it made it a breeze and when I hit the power button everything worked as it should and has never missed a beat. I’m a fan for life and am about to order another convertor for my Cnc mill.

Five stars a thousand times. I went to Phoenix Phase Converters first and their customer service was the worst experience I’ve ever seen. Maybe that’s why they have 1 star on Yelp. They actually told me to call American Rotary then I did and it was my the best decision. James Michaelson surpassed the level of professionalism. He is kind, patient and knowledgeable. I want to thank the folks at American Rotary as a completely satisfied first time customer. American Rotary was recommended to me by Felder USA, the Austrian manufacturer of a large multi-function (saw, shaper, planer, jointer) woodworking machine in my workshop which relies on three 7.5 HP 3 phase motors. I have owned this machine for over 20 years when the main analog control board finally failed and was replaced with a new digital control board. These new electronics required a far more limiting voltage range and voltage balancing than my old phase converter could deliver. American Rotary quickly understood my shop needs among a handful of 3 phase machinery including the Felder, a 5HP Bandsaw, 5HP compressor, and 3HP dust collector. I was suggested a Model AD-25 phase converter, 30 KVA transformer, and Model EC-3750 enclosed contactor. The customer service representatives, Mike and Jacob, were beyond patient with my endless questions throughout the process, and the final DIY installation occurred without a hitch. After a quick call with Jacob to make a few internal adjustments, the setup delivered balanced voltages within 5% with no load and within 2% under normal operating load. The build quality is excellent using premium internal components, and the idler motor is far quieter than my old converter which was also a high quality U.S.A. made unit. I honestly have nothing negative to say about my overall experience with American Rotary. It was great to come across an American Company that takes pride in their product and is more than eager to assist tedious customers like myself.

The people at America Rotary were great a year ago when I bought an ADX-20 to run my CNC, the unit has worked flawlessly for that year. Then when I added a large sander to my shop I thought I needed to abandon the ADX-20 and get the next size larger unit. A few emails and call a with James later I found out that I could add a second ADX-20 and run them in parallel to give me more than enough 3 phase power in my shop.. Huge money saver. When setting these units up I naturally had questions, tech support was a phone call away. Every time I called they picked up after one ring and answered my question. I highly recommend American Rotary

The election hired was impressed with the quality of the idler motor and panel. He had no issues with the install. Took about 7 hours to install everything.

I’m a machinist not an electrician but directions are so simple to understand that even I can wire it up and have it running in a few hours product exactly as described superior quality zero issues I wouldn’t go to anybody else other than American rotary!!!!
