If I could give a zero, I would. I had high hopes when I chose American Array Solar, but my experience has been incredibly disappointing. They assured me that my solar system would completely eliminate my dependence on PG&E, promising it would power my entire house. Instead, I'm now stuck paying $260 for the solar service and an additional $350+ for PG&E each month.

Moreover, I learned the hard way that if PG&E goes out, my solar system won't work either—only the power stored in my battery is usable. This has left me in a tough spot during outages, especially during the hot summer days.

Customer service has been lacking; once the contract was signed, it felt like they abandoned me. I urge anyone considering solar to look for a company that truly supports its customers and delivers on its promises. Avoid American Array Solar if you want reliable service and transparency.

I am extremely happy with the system and service from American array solar.Right from the quote process, to explaining what happens when, seamless installation to the PGE approval process they were on top of things.I have referred my friend after my experience and he has a system as well. Adam has been there for me from the beginning. Recently I had an issue because of the storm and he was very proactive in sending a technician and getting the issue resolved immediately! Adam also followed up diligently to make sure there were no further issues. I highly recommend American array solar.

I must say that I was very apprehensive when I signed up for roof replacement and solar installation. I had gone through the process of researching all of the alternative installers and chose American Array because they offered a very competitive price AND they were almost local. American Array met all of my expectations and surpassed most of them. The roofers were prompt and efficient and very likable. The men who installed the panels were also very methodical. The electrician, Nick, who installed the battery and completed the electrical work was very respective of the property and a true professional. The project manager, Mary, was very responsive and clearly on top of the entire project and stayed in touch until PG&E signed off on the installation. Needless to say, I am very pleased with American Array.

I was initially concerned about installing solar panels due to the fact many people I knew had leaks in their roofs from the installation. American Array Solar assured me from start to finish that they would treat my roof and my home as if it was their very own. They did not disappoint one bit! They guided me through the entire process and patiently walk me through the entire experience. After signing the contract, they continued to surprise me with their expert team of experienced installers. The installers were courteous and professional, but most of all they showed respect for my home and my family. Miguel and his team of installers were great! Mary at the main office was very quick to reply and worked out scheduling the install around my schedule and not theirs.

American Array Solar operates like a family run business that really takes pride in serving their customers. They are dedicated and respectful and continue to amaze me. I'm looking forward many years of free electricity with the comfort and security that my roof will be doing its job for years to come.

I found American Array searching online and I was surprised how their quote for a 4kw solar system was already a much better deal compared to everything I had received. Then they brought a great financing option and executed the project really fast and with high efficiency and quality. My experience was great and therefore recommend American Array.

American Array Solar installed a solar system with a battery at my home, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the results. The installation was carried out professionally, taking only two days to complete. Although there were some initial issues with passing inspection (we unfortunately got a very strict building inspector who kicked up fuss about some really minor issues), Alex and his crew were incredibly patient & persistent and resolved all the issues promptly.

The system has been performing exceptionally well, exceeding my expectations. I have not encountered any issues with it since installation. Additionally, American Array provided me with a very competitive quote, and making it a smooth process right from giving me a quote to getting the PG&E PTO step, making the entire process even more satisfying.

Based on my experience, I highly recommend American Array Solar for anyone considering a solar installation. Their professionalism, persistence, and performance have truly impressed me.
