I had to submit a warranty claim for one of their water tanks that literally burst at every seam, left a huge mess in my home, and left my mom without hot water while I was deployed.
First, we were informed that there were a lot of recent warranty claims on that model, suggesting it was of bad quality to begin with. Then, instead of sending a technician to my home to look at the unit and assess the damage, my mom was told to send pictures.
I had to pay freight for the replacement unit. When it arrived, we realized that the drain back reservoir tank was not included (it was installed on top of our large tank). When we reached out to customer service, we were told they didn't know it was part of the claim, but it's a separate unit which is not covered under warranty - though, they'd be happy to sell me a replacement that I would also have to pay freight for.
All of this confusion about what was/wasn't damaged and what specific parts are covered under which warranty could have all easily been identified if the company actually sent a technician to my home to assess the damage. Instead, it prolonged the time my mom had to go without hot water for weeks.
Finally, we had to hire a plumber to install the new tank, because that wasn't covered under warranty either. We spent almost $1000 because my brand new "upgraded" had different connectors in different places. All of my plumbing had to be redone and the location had to be changed because the drain back reservoir tank could not stay in the same place.
In summary, I spent a gross amount of unnecessary costs to replace a poor quality unit, and my mom's quality of life was unnecessarily affected for an extended amount of time while I was deployed. I do not recommend this company.
