I was extremely pleased with my experience with Alder Energy. Not new to Solar energy having designed and built a home in 1979 with an active and passive solar system, I am somewhat familiar with the concept. We first met with Benny Mosiman as the rep from Alder. He was thoroughly knowledgeable about the concept and the products being offered. He was able to answer all of my questions with ease.

The installation of the panels was completed as promised and with the highest degree of professionalism. The installation was clean with no wires or conduits visible. The performance of the panels surpasses what I expected. We are on our way to generating more than 8MWh after almost a year of use. Benny has provided excellent follow up and stays in touch with us.

I would highly recommend Alder Energy as a company to use for the purchase and installation of an active solar system.

Benny and his team of talented folks at Alder Solar Energy worked with us from August 2019-January 2020 to get a 5000+kW system up and running on our residential property in GA. We had obtained estimates from 4 companies and extensively reviewed proposals, products, warranties from all. Although Alder's proposal was slightly more than the lowest bid we received, we felt that their responsiveness, previous work history, knowledge of the system and various available products, and integrity were critical in deciding to work with them. We had one estimate from a different company that guaranteed way more than what was possible, and Benny helped explain what was realistic for our property. He did not try to oversell a system that wouldn't produce energy. We felt that Alder worked to ensure we were fully aware of the plans and responded to a million questions we had. We were more than pleased with our final system and it has gotten lots of positive comments from neighbors. The system works great and is performing better than we estimated! We would absolutely recommend Alder for solar energy installs.

A great company to work with! I did a lot of research and spoke with several solar energy companies before choosing Alder Energy. I worked with Jonathan, who took the time to explain how everything works and answered all of my questions. I'm a details kind of person, so I asked a lot of questions. He was very patient and always responsive. I worked with Jonas (Install Manager) who oversaw the construction work. I challenge anyone to find a better looking installation than what him and his crew performed. As I see more and more solar panels being installed around the area, I am 100% glad I went with Alder Energy over other companies.

Overall, this has been one of the best experiences working with a company. Great people and great customer service. Most importantly, I have gone several months now with not having to pay an electric bill! I always encourage people to do their own research to determine what's best for them. That being said, I would highly recommend starting with Alder Energy.

Great experience with Alder Energy- My wife and I received quotes from several companies over the course of 2 years. Alder stood above the others. Our salesman, Benny, was knowledgeable and passionate about solar and not pushy like the others.

Our panels have been live for about 4 months and our production has exceeded the proposed numbers each month. THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT, as some of the other companies were a bit overzealous with their estimates.

The installation was seamless… The install coordinator provided frequent updates on the permitting process and the install was quick and professional. The conduit was not wrapped over the edge of the roof (like may of the big box companies).

Alder has been readily available for any follow-up questions and continue to check in on our production. Alder made going solar an experience NOT a business deal.

Benny with Alder Energy has been (and continues to be) great to work with. We met with four other solar companies before making our decision to go with Alder Energy and are extremely glad we chose Alder. The other companies made promises up front that seemed too good to be true in terms of expected production from the system whereas Benny was extremely honest and conservative with the estimated system output. Alder was able to model the system and factor in things like shade from surrounding trees that would impact performance – which the other companies did not do. I am happy to say that our system is actually outperforming their estimated output!
Benny is extremely knowledgeable about solar and helped us understand the entire process, from system design and financing through permitting and installation. He managed the entire project from start to finish and came on site multiple times throughout the process to make sure the permitting and installation went smoothly and has continued to check in with us to make sure everything is running perfectly. I would recommend Benny and Alder Energy to anyone considering going solar. They are a great local company and it has been nothing short of wonderful working with Benny….I would give them 6 stars if I could!

a 45k solar system on a very expensive place. Discovered a leak rotting out my roof hidden under warranty period. . Contacted them and they sent someone out. They blamed roofer. Roofer came and said it was solar installation fault. Contacted solar again to remove panels to get it fixed. Whooops. Told me. They never came to my home. No record of it and now outside warranty. Don’t use these jokers. I spoke with Jonas and then they put me through to Don Zimmerman who is absolutely disgusting on the phone talking over me talking, down to me. R. U. N.

UPDATE: I completely disagree with his rebuttal below. Bad experience. If they drill in brand new roof….and the leaks are where they drilled… their fault. Called roofer before calling them and after their visit. Clearly solar install issue. No bones about it. At least they now admit having ever come to my house. Crooked.

Extremely happy with our system from Alder Energy! Alder came in with a much better price compared to Southern Current and SunRun and provided better quality panels. The installation process was quick and easy. We have had our solar panels for about 7 months and are producing a little over what was estimated. The app for tracking production is super easy to use and fun to watch. I can't recommend Alder highly enough. They were also patient and professional while working with our very difficult HOA.
