This is some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The website is extremely ill-made and the application process can be confusing. When you call to check on the status of your application or clarify questions, the staff is unwilling to help and will not return phone calls after promising to do so. In addition, even after making an order, it will take 10-14 days for fuel to be delivered. Other companies in the area are much easier to work with scheduling as well as setting up an account. I highly recommend you do no waste your time and look elsewhere.

I don't like leaving reviews and rarely do but it's warranted. I have done business with AK Petro for over 40 years and up until the change to Petro Star I would have left 5 star reviews but since the ownership change, we have had nothing but problems with the book keeping department. Bravo for Clint as he has tried to make things right but whoever does the billing has no clues and does not respond. I hate to take our companies' business elsewhere but ....

I have used Alaska Petroleum for years. Multiple addresses. One of my tenants let me run out of fuel, they were scheduled out a month for deliveries however Teresa took mercy upon me and got them to deliver 100 gals that same day. She has also helped me organize my multiple addresses and she enrolled my personal residences on auto fill. Extremely professional Alaskans helping fellow Alaskans stay warm, that's what they do. Call them, their prices are competitive also.

I've had great service from AK Petroleum. I am sure mistakes 6 evidenced by a few posts, but I've had great experiences with them. I called while driving through Canada on the way in, and they filled my tank ASAP. I was on auto fill and zero issues. When selling my home they were very responsive to closure. Teresa is really the best to work with over there...I totally recommend this outifit!

I’m only leaving one star because I have to, if I could leave no stars I would. This business was so hard to work with, they filled up the wrong tank when they had specific instructions to fill an above ground tank behind a garage that was only 200 gallons and they filled an underground tank that was not behind the garage that was 500 gallons and when we called they had attitude and said it was our fault. After we got it all figured out and I had to call multiple time for them to charge my card the correct amount. Then months later they charged my card again for $630 when we never had them do another service. NEVER BUY FUEL FROM THESE PEOPLE.

We've been ordering oil from Alaska Petroleum for the past 2 years and have nothing but positive experiences with them. Today I called, after 12:45pm, and needed a delivery because I accidentally let it get too low. He was very respectful and let me know they'd be happy to come out for a same day delivery. Both the folks on the phones and the guys who deliver are very professional and courteous. Thank you for your great business!!

I'm on autofill with Alaska Petroleum, they dropped about $1K worth of fuel at my neighbor's house. My Neighbor got the slip on his door with the wrong address called me, and AK Petroleum telling them this happened. My CC was charged $1k for the fuel because I'm on auto pay and the staff said they were correcting the issue. However when I asked for written confirmation of the mixup via email rather than just a string of phone calls I was told "only a manager can do that and she's on vacation for a week." As a customer, I'm frustrated that their staff is fully empowered to take payments but apparently not empowered enough to help customers document mistakes when they are made by the company that will lead to refunds for incorrect billings. All I wanted was an email describing what they were fully able to admit over the phone based on my account records. Hopefully when the manager gets back this will be sorted out.

I was scheduled for Jan 27 but no one came out. I called the office the following morning and ask why I didn't get anyone to come out to fill my tank. They don't know why either but I was on the list for Jan 27. The receptionist transferred my call to the manager, I think he was the manager. He made things right and sent someone out the same day. Thank you. I recommend using this company because if there was a mistake they fix it right away instead of having you wait out longer like another company did to me.
