They more than tripled my bill, refused to listen to anything I had to say wouldn't look at my receipts, said I could apply for help with some services and gave me a paper dated 20 years ago and said take it the place and they would help pay my bills 😳😕
Charged me reconnect fee 3 times for having my power turned off 2 times these people don't care about the customer or customer service. If they had a rating below 1... That's what they would get a big fat zero 000.negative zero across the board .

The absolute worse company in the entire world. And the sad thing is in Montgomery Alabama you have no option to use any other company. And the comment I read when she said when you walk inside to pay expect to get treated like you are going to see a probation officer is an understatement. She took the words out my mouth. It’s not fair how they treat you and God ain’t sleep. I pay my bill tho always. Ain’t got a choice

Bought washer anddryer through Power Co. Little over a year later my home went up in flames due to electrical shortage and I still have to pay off the balance . They said the ins I was paying for only covered maintenance . You know they had to have some kind of coverage for total loss. Of course I have to pay it or I can't get my power back on. I will never buy anything from them again. I still owe 1264.49 and I got them a year ago in July and home burned down in not. Paying 57 a month

Terrible service. If you decide to pay bill in person expect to be treated as if your checking in with a probation officer. Also power seems to go out everytime the wind blows over 15 mph then if you call to report an.outage they say your number does not show in system. Pretty funny when u call to pay your bill it shows up then!

Power has been off in Cherry Street, Montgomery, AL 36107 since 6PM last night. This is the 12th outage in the 18 months we have lived at Cherry Street. The outages last anywhere from 3 hours minimum to 28 hours. But on all such outages the commercial area of Ann Street & Jackson Hospital have not suffered any power loss. I have attempted to speak with supervisors, managers & even the company president-Mark Crosswhite.....they are never available to speak to their customers!!!
It is a sign of abysmal service to disregard & disrespect those who pay their salaries-your customers. Indeed, I was told a few minutes ago by the customer service representative that no one was available & of they were they can't tell me anything anyway. She then, rudely hung up. This is not the way to treat your customers!!!!!
Further as a monopoly with no competition in Montgomery, the fact of disregarding customers is appalling & shows this company lacks any empathy & is abusive to their customers. Monopolies ate inherently bad since competition spurs innovation. Sadly this company shows no ability to change as if they tracked their outages they would realize they have a considerable problem in this area of Montgomery. This company is too monolithic to comprehend any small demographic of a problem area. This company needs competition to spur the type of customer service required.
Overall just a poorly run & managed company with no saving graces at all....

Our power goes out frequently. It used to be on Sunday mornings about once a month around 6am. It would go off and on about three times, waking everyone up. Now recently it keeps going off, about once a month, for 3 or more hours at a time with no explanations. This is not during storms, it's on perfectly clear days.

Today our power went out at noon. Not a cloud in the sky. The "repair time estimate" on their website for our area was 3pm. At 2:30 that estimate disappeared. The new estimate was "We don't know." It was 93 degrees outside, and I had just bought groceries and put them in my (now warming) fridge. The house was getting HOT. I got in the car to run my AC and charge my cell phone. I also called Alabama Power and went through the 10 menu options to get a human being. She checked, came back and back and said there was no info for me. 15 seconds after I hung up, I heard my dog barking frantically in the house. The power had jusy come back on. The timing was interesting... I suspect they are randomly turning the power off to make repairs or something.
