Terrible customer service and horrible management. I recommend taking your recycling to other locations. Criminal activity has been observed by several residents near the area, and the ground is polluted with several chemicals.

When it comes to recycling #1 Bright Copper; this is a dishonest operation! We took 53 pounds to their center in Morro Bay and was informed that they did not accept copper there. A very good employee weigh our copper and then showed us on his smart phone that the scrap rate was $2.83/ pound and we need to go to Arroyo Grande where they accept the copper. We then drive to their center in Arroyo Grande, where the employee not being familiar with copper takes a photo and sends it to his boss. He calls his "Boss" who told him that we did not have #1 Bright Copper and offered .20 cents per pound. Obviously this is a very questionable, mismanaged operation that cannot even update their website or educate their employees to at be on the same page. If you are looking to recycle copper find somewhere else.
I have to rate one star since there are not minus stars.

I'm visiting the area, called them ring no answer, I hung up. Someone called me back within a few minutes, I asked my questions and they answered them. I didn't have a lot; a few plastic water bottles, couple glass bottles of wine, a few soft drink cans, some glass yogurt containers, and a glass pickle jar. I drove there and dumped them into separate containers and got $4.10 for it all. Not going into landfill and I have some extra money. The guy was really nice.

Arrived within 10 min before closing (I had
my recyclables presorted and bagged accordingly). The gentleman was cleaning up and looked to be ready to go home. I hate to be that kind of last minute customer that everyone hates. So thinking on that, I hurriedly scrambled to get my bags out, as to let him know I didn't intend to be that type of customer. Was reassured by his calm and professional demeanor, that there was no need to rush. Had the whole process done and over within minutes. In the end, he told me to keep a handful of some smaller bottles with the advice that if I held on to these and collected more (since these are tiny bottles). That way I would yield a higher crv refund instead. Overall I was super satisfied and definitely will go on another extra long drive just to do business with them again in the future. Plus their business hours are open longer and with more days than the other place.

i brang in recycling to this location since my normal facility is closed. the man working was very rude, top it off i know he shorted me on what i should have received for payment. when i requested a recipe for verification of what the weigh ins calculated out to, he refused and said the policy was no recipe unless total was over $100.00. i have been recycling for some time now and am able to guess average totals. was expecting double the amount and am positive he did me dirty.

People should REALLY seperate before that get there. It's just rude to pull up and spend 30 minutes with people in line so you can seperaye and decap plastic at the site.
