If I could post a negative star this company would absolutely be the one!! Office finally contacted me on Friday after my HomeWarranty sent the work order in on a Tuesday. I had also letter messages on their voicemail twice. Tried to set an appointment for the following Wednesday, I asked if they had anything sooner as they were notified on Tuesday by HomeWarranty. This lady (not a customer service bone in her body) quickly said no and lied about when A&R notified them. Then I asked how about your voicemail, do you not respond to them? She canceled my appointment! I’ve filed a complaint with my Homewarranty. Also I informed my homewarranty company to read there reviews. I was so upset! And I have Terrible dishpan hands. It’s ok, I have an appointment with Avalon Appliance. Very professional company.

BEWARE! Horrible customer service, incompetent repairmen. I've been without a washing machine for over 4 weeks now due to the company's incompetence. This is who Lowes has contracted with for their service agreements and extended warrantees. Even when Lowes/Assurant booked 2 different appointments with me on the phone, A&R did not honor the booking. 1st visit 1/20/25: repair guy figures out that a part went out and places the order on his phone RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. He tells me it's been ordered and should be in Friday. I call Friday, 1/24 to verify the part is in and to set up another appt for the replacement part....NOPE part had NOT been ordered. Supposedly they ordered while I was on the phone. I call 1/31 to schedule the appt hoping the part is in. Parts expected in and THEY will call to set an appt. No call.... I call 2/4 to make the appt for 2/7. I call to confirm 2/5. 2/7 Repair comes earlier than booked. Replaces the part, tells me to run all the loads (4 weeks worth) and give them a call if it's still making the noise it's not supposed to.... We run 3 loads, 4th load the machine makes a new loud noise but sounds like it's running. I hear the last spin cycle, I start to walk down the hall, and the hallway and 3 bedrooms are flooding. I call the cell number and speak to the repair guy. He says he can't do anything and call Monday to set another appt. I'm speechless at this point... I call and leave messages over the weekend for a return call to set an appointment. I hear NOTHING from A&R. I call 2/10. I get the runaround. I call Lowes, James makes an appointment on my behalf WHILE I"M on the phone with him for Tue. 2/11 8AM-12PM. I receive a confirmation email from Lowes regarding my appointment. Tues. 2/11 at 12:30 rolls around...no A&R. I call, I'm told "because I (customer) didn't call to confirm the appt, they cancel it". I'm shocked as I explain I was on the phone when James spoke with them yesterday, also stating that our floor flooded due to the repair guy not fixing the machine properly. I ask for another immediate appt for Wed. 2/12. Jamie confirms the 12-5PM spot which is super inconvenient...but I take it as we're going on 5+ weeks with no washer...
Today...2/12 at 12:30PM I call A&R to confirm they will be out at my house between 12-5pm. I'm told that I'm not on the schedule for today....that it's tomorrow, was put on hold, Janice comes back on the line, tells me again it's tomorrow, then hangs up on me.
Please beware!!! Not good service or customer service. Will not take responsibility for issues and expense THEY created.

Technician was rude and wanted $75 fee before even taking a look. Wants to make sure he didn’t “waste his time” for no payment.
Then didn’t fix anything. Rude comments and replies. I hate when people think they’re too good for the job they chose, learn some customer service skills

A&R repair is a horrible company to deal with there guy came to try and repair my microwave and took the whole microwave off the top it was an over the range microwave the guys even removed the ducts from the top and handed to me to put aside now there A&R is saying he didn't remove the ducts which is a lie I sat and watched him the whole time so now. Now I have to pay another service fee to get them back on which I don't think is right .

Awful repair company that contracts through Sears Home Appliance Repair so don’t book your repairs through Sears either. It took them seven months to fix our refrigerator which is from 2022. Our refrigerator stopped working properly in February and wasn’t fixed until September so we had to constantly be putting ice packs and frozen drink bottles in our fridge all summer long and had a lot of perishables go bad quickly. Luckily we had a stand-alone freezer for frozen items.

In February they diagnosed the problem with the fridge incorrectly and then claimed the job was done. It wasn’t until July that they sent a different repairman that was more competent and decided to try a different diagnosis when the original diagnosis didn’t work and they came back in September to finally try the correct diagnosis which finally fixed the fridge…seven months later. Even if they would have started with the correct diagnosis it would have taken them two months to fix the fridge since they keep pushing back the return date and they have no local number to contact them. Avoid A&R Appliance Repair at all costs and do not ever use Sears Home Appliance Repair for anything…there’s a reason Sears is going out of business…they suck!!!

My experience was rather good despite the other reviews. Our property management sent this company to diagnose a repeating wash cycle on my dishwasher. They came over for less than 5 mins to get info on dishwasher so they could order parts. They were back the next week to fix it, took only 20 minutes or so. The tech brought a trainee too and they were both very friendly. Only reason I knocked a star off is because they called me ahead of time asking which day I was free, I picked a day, and then I tried to call right back to change the day and they did not pick up the phone nor respond to my voicemail.

Don’t Recommend, Technician was rude when questions were asked about the issues of my dryer. He complained about having to come back, and after each visit the dryer had more issues. I was told it was a sensor and after 3 visits the dryer that to be replaced with a new one.

Our repair man( Alex or Allen, I’m terrible with names) called us on day of repair to let us know he was on his way. Well within the time window given. He was friendly, and efficient. Fixed our refrigerator by replacing a fan. Made sure it was working properly and put things back the way they were. I called day of my original appointment only to find out that they could not make it out that day.
The warranty service scheduled our first appointment without checking with the repair company. But, when I called they were able to schedule me within 2 days of original appointment.
We are very happy with the service we received. From the people answering the phone call to the business to the repair man we received great service. No more rattle 😀
