I grew up directly behind this 7-Eleven and have been going here since I was a child, I have never once had a problem here until tonight at 5:30 PM. The only reason I felt the need to post this review was because of the way I was treated by one of the associates working this evening, his behavior was absolutely absurd, unprofessional, and uncalled for. I stopped by to get a couple of things, and on my way in noticed these circus animal cookies and noticed how low the price was, so I grabbed them and intended to buy them. After The cashier had rang up my items, the circus animal cookies rang up a completely different price than what they were advertised as. So I mentioned something to the cashier about it and he shakes his head no as if I was just an idiot or had vision problems, so I insisted that I saw the price correctly, and asked him to come over with me, but instead he called his coworker to come verify it with me. And just as the picture shows, the advertised price of the item (Which there was an entire roll of, not just one) was the price I had told the cashier it was, as the picture shows. The second the associate had seen that the price didn’t match the actual price of the product, he began getting very frustrated with me, before I could even say anything. I never once asked him to change the price or anything of that sort; I was literally just confused because the price of the product did not match the price that was labeled on the shelf. He continued to ramble on about how just because there is a price under a product, it doesn’t mean that that’s the actual price of the item, which doesn’t make any sense at all. As irritating as it all was, I just disregarded it and went back up to the register to get the other items I wanted to buy, and that’s where the associate crossed the line. I had went back up to the original cashier that I had seen earlier, and the associate who had told me all this went behind the counter at the same time, and as I was getting ready to pay he began going on about how “you Gen Z-ers are unbelievable” and mentioned multiple other things to try to make me feel like I was an idiot or something. He had no right and no reason to act so aggressively the way he did, I was just a confused customer who had a question about the price. It can be very frustrating and misleading to see things like that when you’re shopping, but it’s understandable, because we are all human and we all make mistakes, I’m not expecting this business or anyone who works at the store to be perfect, but I do expect the employees to be/act professional and courteous.
