The concept of this store is very unique. Everything is made from recycled materials and has a Bohemian/Anthropologie look. I purchased a handbag as a gift for my mom for €300, which is $335— a steep price, but everything is one-of-a- kind so I thought it would make a nice souvenir. The next day, I tried to open the the bag and the metal zipper broke immediately with hardly any force. I decided to return the bag rather than exchange it, as I was worried the bag would break again once I got it home to the United States. When I brought it back to return, the same associate I purchased it from was there. I was told it was not possible to return the bag, even though I was never told this upon purchase and it was not printed on my receipt. I tried to explain why I would prefer to return it than to exchange for a new one, and they became very rude and dismissive. I got the feeling they were taking advantage of the fact that I am English speaking and don’t understand much Italian, and were therefore unwilling to explain the actual returns policy to me. For such an expensive bag, I would have expected better quality and customer service. I am very disappointed and regret spending so much here.
