I am writing this review because I don't think I have ever received better customer service as I have today. Alfredo Salos with Simmitri, Inc is the fourth company that I have hired to find a leak in my roof that has been going on for years now. Every individual that has come and worked on the roof has told me that the job has been completed and the next thing I know the leak is still there. Alfredo literally did every test available and checked every nook and cranny of where the possible leak could be. Needless to say he found it after four hours. I paid basically nothing for his time except a $175 fee for which $100 of that is credited to my bill once the work is done. I am thrilled and I will recommend this company to anyone who is in need of good quality, honest work. Walter who talked to me several times about the leak and set up the appointment and got right back to me was equally impressive!

If you are looking for a trustable company for a roof and/or a solar system, I strongly recommend you check out Simmitri. I hired them for a new roof and a solar system for my home, and I have no regret. I would hire them again. They are very experienced professionals in roofing and solar system design & installation. In my case, there have been several difficult issues with PG&E connections and the San Jose city permit process. But the Simmitri people have always been honest and sincere. Most of the issues were not their fault, but about one issue, Simmitri honestly admitted their oversight in the permit process and immediately took necessary actions to correct it. Even their CEO and COO directly contacted me in dealing with the issues. I’d say it’s so rare to find such a sincere company these days. If you want to work with such people, go with Simmitri.

After interviewing 3 solar companies I selected Simmiti for my dolar installation. The planning and submissions to PGE and SCCounty Building were done in a timely manner. The installation crew was superb. The inspector was highly impressed with the installation. Ana, my PM, stayed on all parties to get the final steps of approvals. I highly recommend Simmitri for your solar project.

More like a 4.5 rating…. We hired Simmitri for our solar and Enphase backup battery system installation. We would have given them a 5 stars rating except that we ran into an enphase system activation issue that delayed the commissioning by almost a month. Not totally Simmitri’s fault as enphase changed the certification process right when our system was supposed to be commissioned. Aside from that, everything else went smoothly and the installation was very clean and professionally done.

I had all my gutters replaced. Scheduling was difficult because of the weather. The first day of installation they used the machine and made all the gutters. They left all the new gutters on the ground on my patio near my fence. Mind you these gutters are metal and have sharp edges. Not once was I asked or told this was happening. They stayed there for about 3 weeks, slowly getting less and less as they would install more. Because of being on the ground some gutters got nicked and chipped. I also had to pay extra attention to my dog when he would go outside so he would not get cut on the gutters. The installers were very nice and did a good job. I did have to have them come back once because they forgot to seal an end cap. Also they did not clean up sealant that they got on several spots on my patio pavers. Finally when the guy came to seal the end, I asked for the leftover touch up paint that I was charged for. He told me he would drop it off next week but never returned. Overall they looked pretty good. They still need to be tested because we have not had a good downpour yet.

We chose Simmitri because they are one of the only companies that does both roofing and solar. We needed to replace a section of roof on which solar had already been mounted, and they were able to temporarily remove the panels, fix the roof and replace the panels. All the work was done flawlessly!

We were nervous to sign with any contractor, because our roof was the very first big project we were undertaking with our first house. Simmitri answered my many (many) questions, handled our hesitance with grace, and got our solar project done in time for us to be part of NEM 2.0. We also had a brand new, well constructed, sturdy, solid roof (and gutters) over our heads during two historically rainy winters in a row, which was such a relief. We appreciated the integration between the solar and roofing teams and we'd recommend them to friends and family.
