When we first moved up to Valley Springs to build our final home, we were blessed with meeting Matt Sexton. We connected right away as I prefer no nonsense & direct truthful people. We spoke about the perks and advantages of Solar. I asked him many questions as I wanted to be absolutely sure he would be the “right” guy. He was patient, calm and answered everything I asked him about. I don’t remember how many panels we purchased. I did let him know I wanted no tru up bills or any bills from PG&E. He assured us we’d have no problems. We negotiated a fair win/win price for both of us. The day they installed it, they were here at 8:00 am and were finished by 12:30. We have not had any problems 6 years later. Oh and NO tru up bills to date. Matt is a stand up guy. He’s honest, has integrity & we formed a wonderful friendship. I’ve referred him to several neighbors who also have nothing but great things to say about him. You can put your trust in this fine young man and know he speaks from the heart and is there if you have any questions in the future. Matt gets an A+ rating from me! My system:17kw ground mount solar and 2 generac pwrcell battery backups.

I contacted a couple of the local top solar companies when I was looking into getting panels and a battery backup system for my new house. After meeting with them, I decided to go with Matt Sexton’s crew over the other main local installers. They were able to put the battery backup into an upstairs utility closet and put the panels in so that they wouldn’t ruin the beautiful views near the house. In comparison, the other company wanted to connect it in a way that would have required building a small shed in my yard, and would have cost significantly more overall.

Matt and his crew are great people and would highly recommend them. I have had power now through about 4-5 power outages and have had them less than a year.

Called solar by Sexton to help me out with replacing a panel that had cracked on my house. Did not have the best experience with the company I went with on the warranty and then replacing the panel so I had to use someone else.

He referred me to a secondary company he uses. They came out quickly and did it for a great price. Pretty easy process. Will definitely call again for any needs in the future.
