The slim indian girl who was working in phone calls service,was very very rude, and had a bad attitude, very disrespectful and rushing me to check out..she needs to go..but the stout indian girl was real nice .but the skinny indian girl was disrespectful and had a ugly look on her face. but all in all it's the best home depot in bham, The two black girls at customer service were helpful and kind, they deserve raises

My overall experience with this return was terrible. The original deep freezer I ordered had a shredded power cord. It wasn’t until my mom went to pick it up that the associates noticed the power cord was hanging out of the shipping box and damaged. The two associates informed my mother that they needed to reorder the deep freezer because it had arrived damaged. When my mom asked if she needed to go inside to reorder, they told her no, assuring her that they would handle the reorder automatically.

Over a week later, when my uncle went to pick up the new deep freezer, the assistant manager at the Fairfield, AL store said she couldn’t find the order. When I called the store to investigate, the assistant manager explained that the associate had only left a note on the desk and that the damaged deep freezer had never been reordered. She repeatedly mentioned that the associate who left the note didn’t work in that department and shouldn’t have been involved in the transaction at all.

The assistant manager then said they had a similar deep freezer in stock, but it was significantly more expensive than the one I originally purchased. Throughout the conversation, the assistant manager was unhelpful and showed no concern for my situation. It had been a full month since I placed my order, and instead of addressing the issue, she laughed in my face.

I asked to exchange it for a similar chest freezer they had in stock, given the inconvenience caused by their incompetence. The store manager refused. I then requested a refund and asked to speak with the store manager. I was placed on hold for over ten minutes. During that time, someone picked up the phone and immediately put me back on hold three times. It seemed neither the assistant nor the store manager had any intention of helping me.

I contacted the call center for assistance, and the process was smooth and easy from that point on. I won't shop here again.

I made a purchase order for lumber from the store on Sunday, and the order was pulled for pickup on Tuesday morning. When my contractor arrived to pick up the order the MANAGER had the staff to put my order back on the selves. THIS WAS A TERRIBLE INCONVENIENCE FOR MY CONTRACTOR AND ME BECAUSE WHEN ARE ON A CLOSE TIME SCHEDULE. I have never had this problem before so I was very disappointed on this morning. IT TOOK THEM 3 HOURS TO PULL MY ORDER AGAIN. THAT WAS A WASTE OF HIS TIME AND MINE WAITING FOR THE ORDER. I TRULY HOPE THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN TO ANYONE ELSE! THE MANAGER WAS VERY INCONSIDERATE OF ME AS A CUSTOMER!!!!

Just left from spending 220$ I forgot to get a blade for my tool. So I nicely asked a female if she would watch for me being she works there...while I retrieve the blade. So I said ma'am will you watch.. and the woke came out. She said mam,mam,mam...all with attitude. Won't shop there again.

Be aware, Filed a complaint with main Home Depot corporate.
We are buying millions of dollars a year at home depot.
Store manager woke up on the wrong side and decide to disrespect clients. We will escalade it more.
