Horizon Roofing - and Hunter Temple as my Project Manager - get a 5 Star rating from me! From the initial introduction to appointed meetings to the actual days they were working on site at my home to the customer satisfaction walkthrough and followup after the project was completed! Every single phase of this job was carried out and completed on time with the utmost in courtesy and professionalism.

My roof is very steep with many hips and valleys which made the project extremely complex and challenging in many aspects. All safety precautions were employed, which was very important to me as it ensures the well-being of the craftsmen actually doing the work. As a nurse, this was a priority for me. Another priority of mine is excellent communication and Hunter NEVER left me hanging - he answered every text, phone call, and email in a rapid manner, even during his "off hours."

I was very concerned that nails not be left in my yards and the old shingles not be thrown off the roof and break my shrubs. I have beloved dogs, some of whom are elderly, and I impressed upon Hunter my concerns regarding gates being kept closed, no nails being left in the yard that might end up in their paws, etc. and he personally attended to the precautions necessary to prevent these issues. Hunter had these concerns addressed in several ways, including the installation of a large and involved catchment system before the work ever began. One other concern I had involved the guttering system installed on my home and he assured me this would not be damaged by their work - and it wasn't.

Last but certainly not least, I appreciated the fact that Hunter didn't treat me like a "little lady who didn’t need to bother her pretty little head" (i.e. didn't need to know or understand) about the details of the project. Since my professional education and expertise are in the Healthcare field, not roofing systems, I engaged the services of a professional roofing engineer to guide me through the process and Hunter was very open to working with him and listening to his concerns, recommendations, and advice.

Throughout the entire process, my questions and concerns were addressed and answered in a thorough, timely, and respectful manner. I honestly could not have had a better experience, and I credit Hunter Temple, my Project Manager, with all the kudos possible for the superior manner in which he conducts his business. This outstanding young man impressed me totally and I'm definitely no pushover. If I could give him a Ten Star rating, I would!

Before I chose Horizon I met with several other companies but no one except Corey provided excellent customer service, and fought with my insurance company . The workers were all very professional and cleaned up nicely afterwards. Corey made sure everything was done correctly and answered all my questions, some which were probably kind of silly since I know nothing about roofing. The tenants in our rental property told us the roof was leaking and we contacted a different roofing contractor who told us to file an insurance claim for storm damage. Insurance denied the claim since the leak was not from storm damage. It turned out our initial contractor was new to the business and not sure what he was looking at. Luckily Hunter from Horizon Roofing was recommended to us and immediately saw the cause of the leaks. The roof was only five years old, but most of the nails were placed way too low on the shingles causing leaks over much of the roof. The workmanship was so bad that the only fix was a new roof. Hunter was great guiding us through the type of roof to choose and made the process easy. He and his crew replaced the rotten deck boards, fixed the incorrect roof venting, and installed a beautiful new roof for a fair price. He was also kind enough to look at my mother in law’s roof next door and confirm it was in good shape. We were very happy with them and absolutely recommend their services.

We limewashed our house and did 90% of the work ourselves. We contracted Horizon to complete the paintwork that we could not reach. We also had them install new gutters. We wanted a custom color for gutters not in stock locally and they were the only ones who took the time to source the materials and they did an excellent job. They were punctual, clean and professional. The price they quoted me was the exact price of the invoice, nohidden fees or charged after the fact. Would definitely recommend and use again!
