Very disappointing company. I was persuaded to instal their so,ar panels in 2018 and my DWP bill was slightly but not overly reduced. But last week I received a $1200. DWP bill. Apparently a part in the panels stopped functioning and I had no idea. The company refused to offer a reimbursement and now have the temerity to charge me $400 to replace this part. But wait there’s more. The part isn’t even in stock so I have to wait more than a week meanwhile the panels are not working at all so my next power bill is likely o be high. What an absolutely disgraceful state of affairs. I’m a retired teacher and I have to spend money like this. Of course they say it’s my fault because I didn’t check the app. What app? I was not really aware of any of this and to blame me instead of doing something to resolve the issue efficiently and expeditiously and allow me to pay over $1000 for my power bill is an absolute disgrace. I wish I had my time all over again. I would’ve use a different company as of today they still haven’t contacted me about the missing parts.

The worst customer service ever. I had an inverter go out on my system that was still under warranty. I'm now at six weeks since my initial call requesting service. Between a front office that needs to be continuously reminded to schedule appointments and a tech who messed up the first report it's been a disaster.

I don’t post many reviews but this one I feel obliged to write so other people don’t have to go through what my family and I have gone through. PacificSky Solar has cost my family time, money and extreme stress. I will clearly describe why you should NOT choose PacificSky Solar for your solar panel installation. Most importantly they cannot be trusted. They have proven that time and time again.

1. Not saving money: A main reason I installed solar, which the company sold it to me as, was that this would save us money and that we would be self-sufficient electricity wise, this did not happen but the opposite. My max production capacity during the best months of the year (live in the Valley) is about 900 KWh / month. The problem is that my need during the hottest months amount to about 1,200 KWh / month (1 EV car) which means that I must pay additionally to LADWP every month. I will never save any surplus to my LADWP NEM Bank which means that I will constantly have to buy additional electricity from LADWP throughout the year. All in all, this means that due to the fixed financing cost of the system I hardly save any money at all during the summer months, and I will most likely lose money during the winter months compared to not having solar panels at all!! I had to spend a lot of time making sure nothing was wrong with my solar meter, LADWP account, my power production etc. A lot of fact finding. I got no support they were just blaming someone else all the time. All this despite providing actual LADWP invoices and actual electricity usage up until a few months before the installation date. A major mistake.

2. Damaged my roof during install: My install was finalized in November 2021 just in the beginning of the rain season in Los Angeles. After the solar panel install my roofer did a yearly review of the roof and noticed several major mistakes. During the install they had broken 16 tiles that had not been replaced. In some cases, they had just tried to glue the tile pieces together. Several cases of lack of sealing/water proofing after drilling directly into the roof. This is just a few examples of the problems they created. They never notified me about this but just left the roof as is. My roofer said that it was a severe safety issue (roof can completely cave-in after a few years) and risk of water leaks (roof completely open in some areas).

3. Water leaks: And surprise surprise I got water leaks in my kitchen/living room ceiling (multiple times) first time while away on vacation. They needed to come back twice to fix the roof and replace the tiles and repaint the whole inside of the ceiling. I have still not had the chance to confirm that everything is OK with the roof.

4. Scratched solar panel installed: One solar panel was completely scratched up, but they went ahead and installed it anyway. Had to complain to have it replaced.

I wish you all the best with your solar panel install. For your sake go with another vendor. For all of you that have done an install with PacificSky Solar please call your roofer and do an inspection of your roof asap.

So ecstatic to have finally gone through a billing cycle and to discover my solar is working beautifully! Paris and Rafi were absolutely great, and made me feel like I was being taken care of. Amanda was quick and even funny on the phone, she kept me informed the entire process and my system was turned on way faster than the families that I was talking to that also had solar. Even they were impressed! So pleased with decision! A+!

Great customer service, good communication from all members of the company. Robert was our quality assurance person and he came out to the house after installation and verified everything was installed correctly and most importantly that I was happy with the service and the products. I highly recommend going SOLAR and using Pacific Sky Solar for your installation

One of the worst decisions I've ever made. I was lured in by the promise of and I quote ' you'll never pay for electricity again' which is a complete fallacy. Have been paying ever since installation. There 'experts' devised how many panels I would need. They were obviously wrong. I called and got a response from their production manager that was neither helpful nor polite. Don't fall for that knock on the door and the ensuing spiel. They'll promise a rebate on your taxes that is half of what they say. I feel completely duped. Very unhappy customer.

I have had a service issue for close to six weeks now. Pacific Sky Solar has dragged their feet in dealing with this issue. They sent out technicians who said they couldn't find a problem and then nothing was heard from them until we complained that the issue is still unresolved. Finally they sent out a technician who wanted me to cut down my furnace vent until he realized he was on the wrong side of our roof. I should have known this was how things would go when they put started to put the solar panels on the wrong roof during installation. Think again before you use these guys.

I met with three companies to get a bid for solar panels . PacificSky were the best with communication and prices .
They were on time every day and sent us a great team . Their workers had a great attitude and are very professional. We are very satisfied with the solar panels !!
