They’re real quick to send an overpriced bill, and real quick to show up at your house before that bill is due, but they’re nowhere to be found when your power goes out. Plus, the office staff has no business working in customer service. Unfortunately, there are no other choices for people unfortunate to live where their horrible service is inflicted on everyone, and they know it, so I can’t help thinking they get some sick joy out of treating people like garbage.

I've never had a power company lie and hustle me and my family out of over 700 dollars. That was an enlightening experience. You people should be ashamed of yourselves. You embarrass and disgust everyone in this area

This company is absolute garbage. My bill is due on the 30th, or rather I should say is “considered delinquent” after the 30th, but I get paid on the last day of the month and the 1st. So 7 months out of the 12, I HAVE to pay the day after it is “delinquent”, and they refuse to change the billing date as well as the “delinquent” date. I even said I’d pay a prorated amount if they changed my billing date. I live paycheck to paycheck so I don’t have the money to try and get ahead and prepare for this bill.

I go in to pay my bill first thing in the morning on the 31st once I’m paid, and guess what? I have to pay $5 extra because this money hungry company refuses to work with their customers. They will also refuse to waive the $5. I guess my $5 is going towards covering the delinquent notice they mail me, which was probably printed and mailed AFTER I’ve already paid my bill. A waste of time, money, and resources.

On top of all that, the power absolutely sucks. A mouse can fart outside and my power is guaranteed to turn off for at least an hour.

TREC, for a company whose mission is to “ provide reliable, quality electrical service to the membership at the most affordable price,” you’re absolutely failing.

My power was out Sunday July 7 2024 for over an hour and I called to ask if we would get credited for the power outage and I didn't like your representative response to me(asking me what did I mean about a credit) I felt she was rude and not caring about the situation my point is she could have handled it better

This company is utterly utility evil greed at its core, they jack power bills up way high during Christmas. The Roanoke area needs more Alabama power. Trec are greedy people who only care about themselves. Power has been out all day. Can't cook for my family. But they blame it on a lumber jack and giggle. I don't think it's funny.
