Love this salon! So welcoming with zero fuss or pretentiousness. Skilled stylists who just want you to feel & look your best! I had Alexis recently and she was wonderful! She asked great questions to understand exactly what I wanted then guided me through her process as she cut. She also gave an AMAZING shampoo/conditioner. Beyond relaxing! And aveda is such a great brand, especially if you have very sensitive skin. Their products smell so go and work wonderfully for all hair types & needs. Would highly recommend this salon. Oh & parking is super easy which is a HUGE plus in the area!

It was my first time at the pure energy salon located in Montclair. I felt so welcomed and comfortable. I got my haircut done and I must say it was the best. The stylist did a great job understanding my hair texture and my style and took time to cut them perfectly. Absolutely ideal experience. Found my new salon! I was lucky to be styled by Alicia, who has been in the industry for 17 years and is so welcoming. She gave me exactly the look I wanted with ease. There’s also ample parking, unlike some of the salons on Bloomfield. Highly recommend.
