2 years after their last review and it looks like these people have not changed. Will not pay their bills. Sophia requested a transportation service for some scrap metal and as soon as the job was done she stopped answering phone calls. Managed to get a hold of the other owner John and he talked a big game about paying but eventually weeks passed and he never paid either. every one of their reviews is the same story. these people just jump from state to state scamming people and it's unbelievable how they aren't sitting in jail.

We hired John George of S.W. Griffin Co. to complete demolition work for us in Nebraska. John talks a very big game, is knowledgeable regarding demo and scrap, but is not trustworthy and will not perform as promised. He left the job unfinished, owing money to a number of other subcontractors, and liens for us to mitigate. John George is supposedly from Ohio and always wants to deal in cash. He will probably give you a great estimate for the work you're wanting completed. It is not worth dealing with John, or his wife Sophia Stevenson. I'd strongly recommend not using the S.W. Griffith Company, unless you enjoy creating problems for yourself.

Super impressed with this company. I haven’t personally hired them for me, but they were demoing a mall across the street and in the middle is the project we had windspeeds hit 50-60 mph. The very next day I had a notice on my door that they did what they could to prevent mess from blowing, but knew they weren’t able to keep their demo contained 100% and they were working to have someone clean up our yards at their expense and 100% our satisfaction. By 1 p.m. that day, my yard has been cleaned up and they continued to clean up the rest of the neighborhood. Super impressed that they care about the community around their site! It was much appreciated and we thank you!

John and his wife Sophia are nothing more than fly by night con artists. Dont trust these people whatsoever. They dont pay their bills and will rip you off and run
