Great company to work with! I originally used the online option to design our lofted barn, and they followed up with a phone call to ensure all of my needs were met. They kept me in the loop along the way and took the time to schedule a delivery time that worked for me. Delivery was a breeze, and they ensured that the positioning was satisfactory prior to leaving. Would definitely recommend!

Northwood Buildings is a solid operation from start to finish. They made the whole process enjoyable and easy to navigate. I enjoyed designing my own little shed on their website's easy design platform and then watching them deliver it when it was finished. All of the staff I worked with answered my questions quickly and thoroughly, and the shed turned out exactly like what I was picturing! They worked with my delivery schedule and were flexible with my needs. I live on a tiny property on a narrow street in the middle of Homer, so the quarters were tight, but their delivery guy backed in and slid it in place expertly.

I highly recommend this business.

The building was delivered and installed on helical piers. John did a wonderful job getting it installed and the helical piers were installed professionally as well! The building is great other than a couple things I might have done differently. 1) Insulation: Wish my sales guy would have mentioned options for vented eves, moisture can be a problem with insulation up in AK and I wish it was discussed, so make sure to ask if you plan to insulate and finish the building. 2) Trim: they pre paint the trim and shoot it on, which leaves nails/holes in cedar trim exposed and requires you to caulk them if you want it to last (and look good), so I will probably apply a 2nd coat of paint on the trim next year. 3) Porch: there didn’t seem to be a finish coating on the porch decking, we will see how it holds up, I will probably replace it with composite in the future.
Overall: the framing and finish is great, having them build the cabin saved me a ton of time and I would recommend Northwood for your project.

Titus was top shelf. Wide open to just let us decide what we were looking for but also offer available options. John was most excellent on the delivery, putting it right where we wanted and helping set up our pavers. Fast, curtious, not pushy and definitely not a sales pitch as well as excellent pricing. Very satisfied with the finished product.

We have had about eight buildings built by northwood.The last one was a fourteen by twenty that i'm using as a shop.They do fantastic work better every year. Really love this latest when they built for us..Couldn't recommend them more highly
