Tried several times to call number to speak with representative but the number kept going back to main menu which didn't help at all. There should ALWAYS BE A REPRESENTATIVE TOO SPEAK WITH WHEN NECESSARY. My question was important to me and I am a PAYING CUSTOMER!!

if i could give zero stars i would. I was supposed to have service on my house but the service provider went to the wrong house I called repeatedly and talked to management and still cant get anybody to come out. They said the technician repeatly knocked on the door and rang the doorbell as well but i have video proof that they did not come to my house. I offered to send it to them so somebody can come back today to and fix my service but they said they cant send a technician back out even though it is their fault. The worst customer service i have ever received if you have the option to go with another company do so cause virginia natural gas is horrible.

I tried calling your customer care line but this is absolutely ridiculous. Any tiny noise that was made on my end, even if it was the house like the ac/heating unit starting up, the call would completely start over. Your automated line starts off with saying “hello, my name, are you calling about your gas service at, my address?” And if i say yes, it starts over with “hello..”. If i say no, it starts over with “hello…”. The only word that seemed to work was “emergency”. Your customer care line seriously needs to be fixed. No one can contact the customer care service via telephone because of this. All i wanted to do was talk to a living person but your automated service makes that impossible. I emailed in the end, and only time will tell if i get a response from that.

I asked why I got 2 delivery charges for 4 weeks of service adding to over double the cost of my usage ($280 for delivery, $100 for usage) and I got sent back a generic email with a highlighted section and increases charges, with no explanation as to how a bill can have that ratio of costs. Even the previous month was much higher than my usual cost. Gas is supposed to be cheaper than electric. Luckily I’m moving soon and will purposely move somewhere with Columbia Gas instead, or no gas at all if this is the new bill changes for all of them.

The company has the worst customer service! The customer service line is broken the company does not care you must press 0 a hundred times to get a representative! Only to finally get someone on the phone that is disrespectful and does not care enough to even report the customer service line problem! We need to start sueing this company! Then maybe they will be held accountable!

If I could give them a negative rating I would. The customer service sucks. My bill is almost $800 for one month. I have been in contact with the president Robert Duvall and Cheryl McKinney in customer relations. They act like they are concerned just to give you a scripted response with no resolution. I think we should all get together and contact 10 on your side this is price gouging.

Would leave 0 stars if possible. I contacted them over a week ago to have gas turned on. Still no gas has been turned on, talked with them today for 3 hours and they said the earliest they have is Wednesday. Wonderful so my whole family gets to continue taking cold showers. Work ethic must be something thats hard to come by for Virginia Natural gas, Ms. Tammy the supervisor is also unhelpful. I wish we had a different company to use in Virginia.

It was very frustrating trying to pay my bill using my established Va Natural Gas account via my phone
I have successfully used this method for over a year with out a problem same Bank same account every month
I tried for over 1 hour checking and rechecking all bank information ( which is stored by VNGas) but would not process using same bank account
Today spoke to Agent at VN Gas she advised bank was the problem and I should talk to bank
Bank testify “ account is open $ there is activity
Call back V NGas
No explanation “ it’s technology and it goes off line “not able to correct or even identify lot of apology
different agent suggested again
It was bank
Big zero across the board no resolution
This after spending 30 minutes being transferred here there and everywhere before reaching real person
who had no idea what problem was or who to reach individual who might address problem
There was suggestion I could mail payment or go to business location to pay in person

Set up my auto pay, saved that info so I could retrieve it for logins etc... I am 100% certain that at some point my account was deleted and I have been getting charged late fees, not letting me log in, not letting make a new account under my email etc... Called customer service and was told they couldn't help me. What is this company?

I made the mistake of contracting the installation of a whole house backup generator before knowing how much a meter upgrade would cost. The extra load required a meter upgrade. Got the cost to upgrade the meter, $2,500.00, Wow!! Wish I’d thought to check on the cost of upgrading my meter before I had the generator installed.

Go up
