Great music store with a lot of stuff. I can’t wait for my new custom banjo to be finished!

Update 10/24/19: my new banjo was finished a few weeks ago and I Have enjoyed it so much! It has the best sound of any banjo I’ve tried and you can’t beat the weight of the featherlight performance banjo which is the one I got. I highly recommend anybody looking into a banjo to definitely get one of these!!

Had a bad fret (2nd) on my 97’ Peavey Predator and really wanted it taken care of by a professional. The luthier was friendly and even setup the bridge to accommodate the new fret and refacing. I am extremely happy with the results. Only wish I had a pick of it before the fix. Thanks again!

I bought my first guitar here...a beautiful Fender Parlor guitar. I received great tips for getting started as a newbie. Robert put the strings down for me, and got me set up with my tuner and picks. I'm getting inspiration to keep practicing by attending the wonderful performances at the Pickin' Parlor. This is a treasure of a place.

Had a Gibson SG refinished here and it was terrible. Very patchy and uneven coverage. Worst of all was the headstock. I am a little perplexed though, they have many great reviews and other great pictures. The folks there were nice, decent selection of guitars for sale, no other complaints. I’m not sure why my guitar came out so bad.

So I will say they haven’t had a chance to reach back out and fix the situation. I brought my guitar in for a set up brand new. I know I should have looked and inspected the guitar right away. But I have a before and after picture there was no damage to the guitar again brand new after I got the set up this damage was right where I can see they tried to use the truss rod adjustment tool. I know guitars get slightly dinged up but like come on…..
I will say people were nice, and guitar set up was ok. I will adjust the rating depending if they get back to me.
Edit they called me back right away I bumped up extra star guys were nice about it. I wasn’t trying to get anything out of it I just want it to be a learning experience.
