The Swedish mother company shut down their Spanish subsidiary, leaving their clients without warranty or service backup. Additionally, in our case, they submitted a wrong document for the subsidy application, which we have now lost. Admittedly, the installation was good, but the customer support in general was absolutely lousy! So, if you live in a country where they have subsidiaries, like Italy, Belgium, be cautious when hiring them. You may just be left alone without notice, like us in Spain!

BEAWARE!!! Scam, I got an electric vehicle charging point from them including the subsidies handling and they just vanished from Spain, leaving the subsidy handling in the middle without any warning what so ever to me, I had to find out through the Spanish authorities and I will lose the subsidy. Completely unreliable and unprofessional company

As long as you want to buy a PV system, everything will be done.
But as soon as you become a customer, you are dropped.

I wait over 3 months to get an appointment to move an inverter. For weeks I received no response at all and always had to take action myself to find out something new.

In the end, about 4 months will have passed and my other building project will be delayed until then.

Never again SveaSolar.

Pros:
- Cheaper by 10% than alternatives
- On the ground crew really nice. Both electrician and and panel instalation crew.

Cons:
- Massive delays (making them actually the most expensive option if including the loss production)
- Bad communication

Detailed timeline:
7.12.2024 - Signed contract - installation should be Feb-March
8.1.2024 - 12.3.2024 E.on had to strengthen network (not svea fault)

12.3.2024 - Revised planned instalation: " Din installation hos dig på xxx är beräknad att påbörjas någon gång mellan 19/03/2024 - 23/04/2024."

29.3.2024 - "Nu börjar det verkligen närma sig. Installation av dina solceller planeras till vecka 17 - 17 (22. - 28. 4.2024)"

... no communication from SVEA, although there was some progress on the ground during may

29.5.2024 - Instalation completed, last step is certification by E.on (no estimation and no communication on how long that will take, electrician said it might be few weeks)

26.6.2024 - Still no news, Svea support sends me to E.ON.

What I would do differently:
- Not use Svea solar
- Not pay them (in full) before system is operational

Absolutely abysmal. Signed a contract 4 months ago and nothing has happened since. All communication is driven by me and nothing gets done from their side. I don’t even have a plan on when they would do the job. They have now agreed to cancel the job and return my deposit. However, that is also a long wait with no confirmed date. I’m wondering if they are having severe financial issues and/or are unable to deliver on projects. I’ll update this post following future developments. Until then, avoid at all costs.

Overall extremely happy with the quality of the panel and the inverter. The team setting up the equipment was very professional. The panels look great and the solar edge inverter is probably the best there is.

My only suggestion: I just wish they had pulled the electric cables under the outside wood panelling instead of on top of it. If you have panels installed, go over this with the electrician beforehand.

I have been pleasantly surprised by how much electricity our setup produces.

Very pleasant contact with svea solar. I didn´t feel pressed to make a decision if I wanted their offer or not. This company is very customer minded and patient. All my questions were answered properly. With installation of the panels a few roof tiles broke which were replaced during installation. From seller to installation guy´s everybody was very friendly, professional and helpful. Price wise I would say they are below average from the offers I received. 1 week before installation I was informed the panels I ordered were out of stock. I received a small upgrade to other panels from 295 to 300 watt panels x38 without extra cost.

My initial contact with SVEA Solar was via Sven Eklund who was excellent to deal with. I got 3 other quotes I went with them because of the professionalism of Sven and the reputation of the company. The installation was done in December by two installers who had to battle the snow and ice but continued and did a great job. Just recently I had a problem with a faulty part and contacted the Customer Support team. Initially I had a slow response until a team member Liam took complete ownership and followed through until it was fixed. He turned an unhappy customer into a very happy one. I had also contacted Sven again and he also keep me updated. Thank you to the whole SVEA Solar team.
