My stay at Horseshoe Casino Hotel was nothing short of fantastic! The room exuded comfort and style, providing a perfect retreat. 1932 Lounge Denise and her shift worker really gave us, regular attending customer a horrible time tonight. We are REALLY GOOD PAYING customer and had the audacity to imply we would lie about not getting a drink we paid for. So the bartender I fail to record her name curse my brother out and said she wasn't serving him any longer cause he was trying to explain to her what all he order and since it was their closing time as a customer service person she failed to even try to see what all was paid for or not and immediately goes off. Now for a place I once love to attend for a laid back time she really made me feel like the customer isn't right. And we spend really good money with them.

When we arrived we did valet parking
And they only have one guy doing the valet. Although he was very nice and working as fast as he could. The room was clean. The room could use updates, however it was clean
And spacious and did not smell. The elevators
Are sketchy but do did the job. Casino itself is small .. table games were really nice and they had a lot of them. Slots were mainly on 1st and 3rd floor and it wasn’t very big. It was fun. They paid out “okay”. Food was good and they had some good options and most was decent. My biggest complaint through the entire stay there : THERE IS NO DRINK STATIONS ARIUND THE CASINO .. no where to get water or coffee unless you go to one of the restaurants. It was annoying. Most casinos have drunk stations set up all over ..

Rude and ignorant security staff. They act worse than a bouncer at an upscale club. Having a foreign ID should not be a reason a person is not allowed to go into the casino. This place have potential to attract tourism, but the ignorance of their staff will never let this place receive visitors from any further than the neighbor states.

The waitress for 2 days kept by passing me when trying to order a drink on the floor where the poker room was. She was very rude. I would move where i could catch her and she would see me and turn around and go the other way just to avoid me. I have worked at casnios before so i try and understand that she is the only one but it is not that busy at this time. So there is no excuse period. Her name is Jeanette she is either mexican or white.

I have very fond memories of this casino it was the last place my bff and I went before she passed away. Best time ever in a casino. Beautiful room w/ view of River. Excellent service all over the place. From the parking garage to the bellhop and then the dealers and servers who are fabulous. The pit boss at black jack tables gave us vouchers for steak dinners and breakfast the next morning! Overall best experience at casino ever!

They was horribley rude!!!! Our check in time was noon was told we would have to come back at 2.. so we did to be told our roo. Wasn't ready and she was doing us a favor by letting us check in at 2.. She was so rude we canceled our reservation and when to boomtown down the road.. really I wouldn't even give them one star
