If I could give no stars I would. Worse water company to communicate with. Everything is done by email. No phone calls. So instead of taking my info over the phone to connect or transfer my service and could be done in less than 10 minutes, everything is done with emailing each other back and forth. Which I do not watch my emails all day so I miss emails from them on missing info. So to connect my water took 3 days bc I didn’t have the exact paper they wanted. I gave them all the other papers but bc I didn’t resign an agreement that I signed with my previous address I kept having to see a email the next day. Worse communication system ever and it’s just plain stupid. I hate dealing with this company. Laziness if u ask me.

What a horrible PUBLIC company with rude employees. Their website we are forced to access does NOT display my past bill history so I have proof of each bills usage, when I call in they are completely rude and unprofessional. If this was a private company this horrendous service would not be tolerated and they would be fired. If they are "too busy" and you leave a voice message they do not return calls. When I get a water bill that is 20X, 20 TIMES usage over 3 years, after I had a leak detection company out, that verified no leaks, they act like they are doing me a favor by answering a few questions. You are a pathetic example of why everyone hates anyone who has anything to do with PUBLIC jobs. If you hate your job so much, you cant be polite and answer a few basic questions, get a PRIVATE sector job you can hate, and be fired from.

Absolutely rude representative on the phone today - why hire such hateful and rude people? I was asking nicely very simple questions and she was completely rude - cutting me off by asking very simple questions. I cant imagine this is how your company operates?

Thanks so much for the help, Marion County Utilities. I left a message for a Supervisor, who returned my call within the hour. While she wasn't able to directly resolve my issue, she helped brainstorm some ideas and offer some suggestions on how I could. I deal with a lot of utility departments and MCU is one of the best. We lost power monday, july 14. Our water source is a plant behind our home. I noticed that the water plant generator was not running. I called Marion county utilities to report the problem. They seem completely ignorant to the problem. I will report to a higher authority tomorrow.
