If you live in Great Neck or any area served by Haines Electric Services, this is the only company you should call! I had an issue with my outdoor electrical panel and reached out to several electricians, including one I had used in the past. Unfortunately, they either ghosted me or took an eternity to provide an estimate.

I was getting increasingly anxious about getting the work done, so I decided to call Haines Electric. To my relief, Rich came over the same day I called. He was professional, explained everything that needed to be done, and provided pricing on the spot.

Rich was able to schedule the work immediately, accommodating my need to resolve the issue within the same week. He even considered the weather to ensure my appointment wouldn't be canceled. The team arrived on time and was meticulous in their work, finishing exactly as scheduled. Additionally, they identified a gutter pipe that could have caused problems and incurred extra charges later on.

Honestly, Haines Electric deserves 10 out of 10 stars! They exceeded every expectation. Thank you again, Rich, for your diligent work in installing the panel without disrupting the gutter. I truly appreciate it!

We hired E.H. Haines Electric for light installations in our home which included a very complex light fixture in our kitchen with a pulley mechanism. They worked carefully and with precision involving us when there were options to consider, and they helped us make decisions with their recommendations. Working with E.H. Haines has been a wonderful experience in professionalism. Christine made the appointment and payment process clear and easy. Rich came to the house to assess, prepared the quote to replace breakers in the electrical panel and allowed a decision to be made based on the quote before charging me anything-(unfortunately in a brand new home - the previous owner/ builder decided to take short cuts that somehow passed inspection). Rich was honest, explained everything clearly to me and showed me the 25 year old breakers used in a brand new panel). The previous electrician hired never mentioned it.
Rich and Mike were respectful of the house and to me and I appreciated the way they worked and the respect they had for their work and business. Rich is now preparing a new quote for work we would like done at the house to add to some poor design choices by the builder.

I would highly recommend this company. They were very prompt, professional and courteous. There was a problem with our generator that they diagnosed and repaired. They were very thorough and knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!
