I found this museum amazing. More than I expected. Words can’t even describe the beauty of the art/jewelry. Unfortunately, I ran out of time to shop at the gift shop but will absolutely return.
I highly recommend a visit to this museum.

We are so glad we found this GEM! Gorgeous display of fine artifacts and stunning mineral specimens. We were in awe... don't forget to see the mosaic art work on the walls! Incredible!

We saw this museum in an announcement for cultural activities in nearby La Grange. The exhibits were clean and incredibly well lit, and there were plenty of chairs and other seats for my grandmother to stop and take a rest, which meant we were able to enjoy the whole museum in one visit.

This museum has enough to keep you entertained and is also something you can realistically do in a couple hour excursion. We were there for about 2 hours, and that was just the perfect amount of time.

A spectacular place for lovers of gems, rocks, Earth Science -- all of which, when combined, equals ART! The beauty, history, and opportunities to learn that are offered by this museum are really something. It's one of those gems (pardon the pun!) that you'll want to visit. With a nice gift shop too, reasonably priced.

What a beautiful experience! If you think you've seen everything in the Kansas City area and you haven't been here you are mistaken! A private and beautiful collection of lapidary art awaits you! Spend a few hours wondering here at the Lezzardo family private collection of ancient and elegantly carved precious stones! Well worth your time!

Amazingly beautiful pieces of art made from earth stones. So much to see and learn about. Inexpensive admission and a must see museum. Easy free parking. Try it you’ll like it.

Beautiful collection! The gift shop is also very nice. We got our Dupage and Kane county museum passport for kids from here. Highly recommend getting one for kids. It's such a wonderful activity to do with or without kids.
It's free on Thursdays!

I love this place! I went to this museum with my Grandma for the first time this year for my birthday and loved seeing all the different types of sparkle rocks they had. They have many different specimens on display in many different forms. From carvings and statues to works of art and dioramas, and just regular rocks on display. I feel like regular is the wrong word to use for anything in this museum, though, as there are so many pieces of rock that were just simply extraordinary. I can't wait to visit again.

The Lizzadro Museum is absolutely wonderful, and always a treat to visit. The museum is a great way to simultaneously view some very pretty work, and teach you a few facts you never knew. The museum has beautiful and elegant pieces for the older demographic, and some interactive fun elements for younger kids. It's also wonderful that they have free days on Wednesday, so anyone can enjoy! The funny part is though, the gift shop might be my favorite part of the museum. I'm a fossil collector, and they have so many affordable and cool fossils that anyone can get. I've seen $6 dinosaur bones, and I think that would be a great gift to get a younger kid. Many people don't know certain fossils are often not too pricey, and this introduces them to that. They also have some amazing gemstones and art work in the shop that you should check out! Overall, a great place with great art, great workers, and a great atmosphere

LOVED this place! First time exceeded my expectations. Tickets are very affordable at $10 for adults and $5 for college students. Friendly staff, small museum but there is LOTS to see and admire.

As a crystal maniac I loved learning about new crystals I hadn't heard of and adding them to my wishlist 😊

Bathrooms are immaculate and abnormally clean but in a good way. Spent a little over an hour in here. Gift shop has very affordable crystals for kids and some nice necklaces and jewelry between $10-$25 which is a good price range.

I booked a reservation in advance but it was not busy at all when we came on a saturday so I could have done without one for reference.

I can't wait to come back when they have new exhibits !

It was a beautiful place, and our grandchildren 8 and 9 were amazed and impressed by variations of texture, material details and the presentation of each display! They totally enjoyed the interactive game! It was so well lit, spacious,.. I couldn't believe believe we spent an hour and a half.. It reminded me of my own sons at the same age 40 years ago at the Elmhurst location.... they had the same appreciation. So glad I took them there during spring break! They will not forget it.

Perfect hour plus exhibit with good explanations and lots of interesting finished and raw geology. Emphasis on lapidary, that is carved stone (emphasis on Jade). Fun gift shop that is very reasonable as well.
