I was a former Northern Energy Propane Company customer. They were bought out by AmeriGas Corporation. Since they justify charging more than local suppliers because they’re “safer“ and have multiple additional charges (that other local companies do not charge) I called Griffin’s Propane then Matlock Gas. Matlock was much easier to deal with, no $70 site inspection fee, lower install charges (which included all inspections), lower price per gallon and tank rent. than Griffin. They have an annual fall sale on propane fills. The tank was installed 10 days from my initial phone call. Highly recommend.
Shout out to Jason, the Payson General Manager, and Andy the propane delivery driver.

I've been trying to have a faulty propane tank picked up from my vacation home for 6 weeks now. Have called 3 times and spoke with Casey out of the Stafford office, who has told me the same story everytime that she will let the Rye office know. The last call I made, she gave me the same run-a-round and I stayed that she has told me that each time. I explained that we would be bringing some personal property down and the gate would be locked as of Sunday. I also mentioned that I would have to take the tank to the curb for them to access if it didn't get picked up this weekend. Casey's reply to me was "I love when I get threatened, we prioritize people needing propane for heat for winter over picking up tanks, but that's fine if you leave it at the curb we'll just charge you for the tank". (Assuming it gets stolen?) And then she hung up on me. I find it rather funny that she gave me the "prioritize heat needs over tank pick up" when the reason we are discontinuing their service is because they wouldn't come fix the leaky tank and refill our propane that all leaked out and were left with no heat for one of our weekend trips in the first place.
Very unprofessional behavior and extremely rude.

Greg came to our home to discuss switching from our current supplier to Matlock Gas. He was prompt, very courteous, and completely knowledgeable about his industry. He offered solutions to problems we might have encountered in moving the tank. Greg is completely immersed in his work, and I believe he will do anything within his power to keep his customers happy! He is a salesman without being the dreaded "in-your-face" kind. He would love new customers, but would never push!
With those wonderful qualities, it's easy to see why so many people have been his long-term customers! Why go anywhere else?

The manager is awesome. His name is Jason. He is extremely knowledgeable with anything to do with propane. He works out of Matlock's Rye The office is neat, orderly, and we'll maintained. I was given a tour of the entire workplace and yard. Everything is neat and clean. This guy does it all. He can deliver fuel to both residential and commercial sites. He can also do any propane service work you need. He can lay yardline, set tanks, hook up and do complete system gas checks. He can install and hook up propane heaters, stoves, refrigerators, generators, and on demand hot water heaters as well as gas packs. . He also has very competitive pricing. Call and ask for Jason for all your propane needs. He also supplies free bids and estimates! He provides service that is second to none. Thanks for the tour Jason! Keep up the good work!

I’ve been trying to get a refund for a full tank that had to be picked up, which I paid $615.38, and it’s been over 3 weeks and I’m getting the run around. She keeps saying she submitted it to the owner. Still no refund in my bank. Very upsetting to see how they’ve conducted business with me.
