I agree with everyone's sentiment. My bill pay sent my payment on the due date rather than the date I selected. I had proof of that and they didn't care. The bill had arrived kind of late and I set it up in bill pay to arrive the same day. They charged me an $11 penalty even though I'd never paid late before and refused to waive the penalty. The penalty was substantial given how small my bill was. It seemed totally disproportionate. They claimed my water meter had not been working in the past and they'd replaced it and that I should have known the meter broke. I'd moved here from GA and my water bill was always the same every month. So, there was no way I could have known the meter had broken. They also claimed that we were getting an email notification on the bills but we'd never received that notification. My husband ended up driving down to the office (30 minutes away) and he got the email properly set up and a debit set up so this would not happen again. Just terrible. I have never paid a late fee in my life before. If I had a choice I'd go elsewhere for water.

So hard to deal with!!!!! When we moved in 19 years ago they tried to shut off our water twice after we had paid!!!! We've been late with a payment. Now we're moving again. They only take cut off dates 5 days ahead of time (everyone else was fine taking our termination of service) and they only cut off on certain days. So now we're paying for somebody else's water for 2 days. And to top it off, we have lousy water pressure. When I asked about it they told me there were new chicken houses put in. That shouldn't matter!!!!!! I've never encountered a business more difficult to deal with. And that's saying something.

Well I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt but they are indeed terrible. I bought my new property last week, went in and did my application for service and paid them $125 deposit and today they cut my water off. It took them ten minutes to even find my application and the staff was incredibly rude when I called them. Wish I had another choice for service.

This is the worst water company, between billing and everything else! They screwed my drive way up putting neighbors meter in and I’ve dealt with it for 11-12 years put several loads of chert and gravel on top of it and it sinks in no time, had 3 people look at my drive way and said it’s their responsibility to fix that, well this sorry place won’t even touch it, they screwed the pooch and now I have to foot the bill for it, billing don’t even get me started I’ve put checks in the night deposit and have had 2 lost in the past and yet these crooks charge me a late fee on top of me having to pay the stop check fee at my bank! I wished someone with a back bone would take this place over clean house and put a responsible person in charge that will stand up and do the right thing for customers, but by god don’t be 1 day late or they will be harassing the piss out of you for their screw up and make you pay for their mistakes!!

This place is absolutely garbage, terrible communication, terrible billing, terrible by all means, I had a perfect record on paying my payment up until this month, I went to send my payment in on the phone cause you know, they won’t let you come inside the actual building to pa… CLOSED ON THE WEEKENDS (only time I’ve got to pay it since I work away from home). Well I got a screen saying payment confirmation a couple weeks ago so I thought I was good, NOPE… got a phone call this morning saying my water would be turned off if I didn’t pay today and I’m top of that a 30 dollar late fee on top of a 90 dollar bill, YOURE TELLING ME IT’S A THIRD OF MY BILL I HAVE TO PAY? If you’ve got a choice between this water company and another one, take that company all day, the headache I’ve dealt with them not being able to answer phones and everything is worse than any I’ve ever experienced in my life so far… absolutely unbearable…. BE WARNED.

Terrible billing. Has "Not Received" 3 checks so far. Checks mail directly from our Credit Union. Since they "didn't receive" it you can pay online with a "Convenience" fee. No other utility looses checks.
