First I wanna start by saying that solar itself is a good investment for your home but before you decide to purchase any solar from ion, please do your research and the reason I am posting this is because I want to ensure that other homeowners see what I’ve had to go through within the last three years. I have never been so disappointed of a company, the lack of professionalism from both the representative and the installment team. After believing that the solar and the fencing around the solar were installed properly, turns out they weren’t. It turns out that the fencing around the solar was not installed correctly and when I called and complained about it and yes, I was really extremely frustrated. All I got told was that is not their problem and that is something that I need to take care of. Hear that I have to pay out-of-pocket for their mistake is extremely upsetting for the last few years I have spent more time cleaning up after bird waste in my backyard for the last three years, not knowing what the real issue was. A few weeks back, I started hearing birds on top of the house. My first assumption was that they were maybe on top of the solar it happens. They land there. But it got to the point where it was extreme, my husband and I called the pest exterminator (pigeons) and they showed me pictures of my roof that were extremely discomforting. Now I have to pay for an exterminator to clean my roof, take out all the dead birds that have been sitting on top of my roof and ensure that that waste gets cleaned and destroyed properly because ultimately that is a biohazard issue. I can get fined by the City because of this. So now I have to pay 2000+ dollars out of my own pocket to get my roof cleaned and took care of and not to mention. I have to ensure that I don’t get fined by the city in addition to that the solar company said that they won’t come out until my roof is clean. The fact that an Ion representative basically just told me that is my problem that’s not their responsibility. It’s frustrating to know because this is happening because of Ion installment teams mistakes and lack of professionalism. This job should’ve been done right the first time, so for future buyers when you have an installment team install your solar please take pictures because if not down the road you’re gonna have to pay more out-of-pocket to fix their mistakes. This is starting to affect the interior of my home to where I have to constantly be changing out the air filters to ensure I don’t have any bird feathers going into my house. I also tap to ensure that my family isn’t getting sick because of this issue. so I hope that this review which is only the tip of the iceberg helps family homeowners make the decision and not having them go through what I’ve been through

The quality of Ion solar labor/work is absolutely disgusting and i have lost all trust in this company. They supposedly install a pigeon guard/bird guard around their Solar panel’s!!! It has damaged my home and is costing me $2,000 to get this fixed. I truly advise you to looks somewhere else. They said they won’t be able to fix their mess and me hiring a pest control and having someone clean up and fix their problem is going to void my warranty what a joke…..

We recently moved into a brand new home and as is typical with any home purchase, we were quickly overwhelmed by multiple businesses vying for our attention. When it came to ION, I was looking to learn more about solar panels, especially since our previous state wasn’t suitable for them due to location and weather condition. Initially purchasing solar panels wasn’t a priority for us; however, after speaking with Brandon, we decided to move forward with The purchased on the same day as our appointment.

Brandon’s extensive knowledge of the product was incredibly informative and he went above and beyond to explain how our specific household will benefit from the solar panel. His exceptional interpersonal skill made the entire process much easier to understand. The excellent customer service continued even after the purchase, with ION Representatives providing regular updates throughout the process. Brandon also followed up after each step to ensure everything was going smoothly.

If you’re in the market to learn about or purchase solar panels in the Vegas area, I highly recommend this company. If you can ask for Brandon specifically, as his knowledge and customer service skills are exceptional.They helped alleviate my overwhelming stress with their seamless and efficient service.

Anthony Parchment (Team Parchment LV Homes)

My sales rep Joe met me on June 17th and discussed our options. We agreed and settled on a 13KW enphase system comprising of 31 panels with micro inverters. My site survey was schedule for Wednesday June 19th after our welc Call with corporate on Monday the 17th. On Thursday the 20 I received a call to schedule install on the 25th. A bit sceptical of how fast this process was running I reach out to Joe to confirm and he assured me that while it does not always runs that smoothly their reputation and relationships with the various governing department afforded them the luxury of getting permits and authorizations that much faster. Needless to say on June 25th his crew lead Ruben reach out to let me know that he was on his way to get my installation done at 7:21 am. Ruben and his crew if 2 other installer arrived approximately 8 am made introductions, performed a site survey with me to confirm installation and then got to work. At 2:23 pm I received a good by text from Ruben as they were done installation, clean up, system commissioning and programming, connected system to my WiFi and prior to all that a dried overview of what was installed and what to expect next.

Did I mention that earlier that morning although on an already planned trip with his family Joe called to apologize for not being onsite due the family trip that was planned weeks prior and due the fast turnaround of everything my installation just landed on the day he was out of town.

I see all this to say that I have had solar installation in the past and have had bad experience with it, but this experience certainly blew that experience out of the water. Everything was well communicated via text email after every process. I received a text and an email confirming completion or confirming Information And both Joe and his crew Ruben and installers were Ollie professional, friendly, polite, and a joy and a pleasure to work with.

To have this all come together within a week of meeting signing agreements and scheduling site survey to get it installation done the whole process was extremely well thought out and handled if I could give more than five stars, I certainly would. They certainly deserve it. Thanks, Joe and your crew and Ion Solar for such a wonderful experience thus far now just waiting to get inspection and authorization to flip the switch and start harnessing the sun.

This edit come on 10/15/2024 so now I have a few months of production to look at and with the weather changing I can certainly see where my production is more than my consumption so I can't wait to get into winter where my A/C will not be sucking so much power to see how much my system will produce and export to the grid. I can certainly say that my power bill that would have been about $600 was reduced to about $200 or less but as the months go by and my production ramps up I will be able to see the savings over the long haul.
