We are so happy with our Solar and Roof project! The house looks amazing! We had the pleasure of working with Karl & Shannon and they were with us throughout our whole project. It took some time, being that we live in Florida and we were waiting for roof materials but it was our request that we wait till all the materials arrived before they start. Karl & Shannon kept us updated and informed of our inspections and status. We truly appreciated that. The communication was great. We are so pleased with the outcome. I had a fantastic experience with Aligned NRG, and I couldn't be happier with the results! From start to finish, their team was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. They thoroughly explained the entire process of installing solar panels and patiently answered all of my questions.

Their expertise really shined through during the installation process. Their installer was efficient and respectful of my property. They even took the time to explain how to monitor my energy savings with my new solar panels.

The process of switching to solar energy seemed daunting at first, but Aligned NRG made it seamless and hassle-free. Their knowledgeable team guided me through every step, from the initial consultation to the final installation. They patiently answered all my questions, ensuring that I had a clear understanding of how solar energy works and how it would benefit me in the long run. We chose to go Solar as soon as we moved into our house, because the summer was just beginning and we didn’t want to get hit with high electric bills from the get go… Karl and Aligned NRG came highly recommended from a friend of ours, so we chose to go with them. The process was smooth all the way through and any questions or concerns were handled professionally and promptly. It’s been almost a year since we’ve had our solar and we are so grateful that we made the decision to go Solar with Aligned NRG. Saving money, consistent negative utility bills, added value… it’s a no brainer! Thanks again Karl!

We had the unfortunate opportunity to meet and work with Jake Sides. He knocked on our door and started to talk to us about solar panels. Explained how great they would be, how much money we would earn back, how the solar panels would provide all the power to our house even at night. We were told that this was a BILL SWAP, get rid of our electric bill which was 250 at the time and only pay our payment for the loan of the solar panels which was 117. We were also told that IF, emphasis on the IF, we got an electric bill that it might be 20 to 50 bucks, but for most months we shouldn't use all the electricity the panels produce and should NOT have a bill. Mind you at this point Jake had said nothing about needing batteries for that to even be possible. I didn't find that out until I talked to the installation company Freedom Forever and they told me about the batteries and without them at night we will 100% be pulling all electricity from the grid unless we installed batteries, which would not power the whole house only essentials like AC and the kitchen area. Jake did not explain that to me and my wife at all. I was also under the impression that we would not lose power if the grid went down, from a freeze like we had in 2021 or something of that nature, and Jake did not say other wise when I brought it up he just agreed. Again I didn't learn that batteries were required for that to be possible until I talked to Freedom Forever. Then, when I started finding all of this out talking to Freedom Forever, the system Jake built wasn't even covering the entire usage of electricity for our home! It was 16 panels, which I trusted Jake for that to be enough and found out its producing about half of what we use. We were sold these solar panels on misleading statements and lies, he told us that the tax credit for solar panels is going away after this year and its not. You can look it up on google. Yes we should have done done more research but Jake caught us when we were not 100%. Me and my wife were both exhausted because we had only been home for about 2 weeks with our new baby and Jake was using pressure and lies to make this sale. Jake also promised to pay the first 2 electric bill payments because the solar panels would take 2 months to really start working, so he would cover the first 2 because the third month we should not get a bill. He paid the first bill but then fell off the face of the earth. Blocked my number, impossible to get a hold of. He is the most shady person I have ever met in my life. Then to make things even worse I finally got a hold of someone with my complaints and they sent ANOTHER sales guy. At this point me and my wife are looking to legal action and their "solution' to the problem is to correct the amount the system produces by selling us another 16 panels and giving us a 1500 'rebate' to pay for a year of the first solar panel loan. 1 year out of a 25 year loan. Also they will only give the 1500 dollar rebate IF i spend 10,000's of thousands of dollars to buy 16 more panels. This is the worst experience I have ever had in my life and I would not recommend this company or Jake Sides. Stay as far away as you can.
