Our roof had hail damage so we had to replace shingles. Big issue with some roofing companies was how to have solar panels removed. I have sunpower solar. They referred me to GreenGrids. GreenGrids was excellent to work with. They coordinated with roofer and set up removal date and reinstall date.
The team that came out and removed the panels were quick. I couldn't believe that in 3 hours they had removed all 31 panels the brackets and electrical j-boxes. They made sure the roofers would have no problem installing
shingles.
The team that reinstalled and powered up the system was also great. I felt so sad for them having to work in the hot and humid 91 degree (feels like 97). But they did. They did a great job made sure system was up and running. The respected our property and took great care of it. They cleaned up the work area to before job cleanliness. They were great I recommend this company.

Solar panel installation into the roof went perfect. Though did experience a multi-week delay in getting the approvals from the city which seemed to require nudging SunPower/GreenGrids to get back on track.

New edit: When seeking attention to a panel outage reported by Sunpower, voice mails left on the Contact Info number, listed on the web site, went unanswered for weeks.

After speaking to the project manager at a different number, we got the troubleshooting and subsequent repair on track and that was effortless. Kudos to Shaun for correcting communication and getting repairs rolling, and to KP and Danny for their work on panel and inverter replacement. I hope I remembered everyone's names.
