John was great, came out and tested my water. He gave me options and was never pushy about doing something with my water. He’s very personable and responsive. Brandon did the install of my new system and made sure everything worked and looked nice. He got it done quickly and showed me how to maintain everything.

I had a follow up question and talked to the owner, Chris who answered my question right away and genuinely cared about experience with his company.

I can’t say enough about how much better my well water tastes and smells now. We were to the point I couldn’t even drink from my sink, now it tastes amazing. Thank you all!

I had a great experience with Better Water Alaska! Over the past three years I’ve had 7 plumbers and water specialists come out and take a look at my water situation. I had previously spent thousands of dollars and tons of time improving my water quality with absolutely zero success. Better water came out completely free and spent over an hour coming up with a detailed plan to improve my water. They did what no one else could do…they fixed it. They came back on time when they were scheduled and completed the project. No hiccups or oppsies, everything worked perfectly and has continued to work perfectly since the fix. I would highly recommend using them especially if you have a lot of sediment/silt from your well!

They were quick to respond even though we’re a 45/min drive out from town. They tested our water which showed that our system had quit working after 40 years. They were professional and courteous and did a very clean install on a new water softener system that is working great. With our prior system we still hauled drinking water but with this new system we are able to drink our well water and there is no oder or taste. We are very pleased. Great Veteran owned Co reasonably price products. I would recommend getting a quote from them if you are shopping for a water softener.

Great experience working with the guys at Better Water Alaska. We were buying a home on a well, and being that I have a lot of sensitivies to minerals (especially troublesome kidney stones from drinking hard well water) these guys were able to get us set up with a nice water softener system that removes all of the yucky calcium that makes drinking water an absolute no for me. John was who I was mostly in contact with - he came over and did a water sample test for basic minerals, and explained the process to me regarding how the water softener works and the benefits from it. I was going to add on a charcoal water filter just for my own GP, but I was surprised when I was told that it wasn't necessary unless I smelled any odors from the well (which I didn't). It just caught me off guard because everyone any their grandma wants to try to upsell you on everything, but these guys were honest, and didn't do this which I really appreciated. The process to install the softener was quick and simple, and the price was by far better than the competition. The guys who did the install walked me through how the unit functions, and reminded me that if I ever had any questions to reach out. Their workspace area they kept clean and tidy, so I had no mess to clean up afterwards. Super happy with their customer service and the work that they did. Would highly recommend them to anyone that likes the piece of mind knowing their water is of good quality and clean. These guys offer reverse osmosis systems as well, and this is something we plan to have them install in the near future. Thanks Better Water Alaska - you guys rock!
