great place and staff. you get better prices in birmingham 40 minutes away i got 3 dollars for a dishwasher their prices is 10 dollars per 100 pounds they accept almost anything. you get about 2 dollars for a bag of cans great place over all

All the workers are respectful. They pay decent. You probably get more if you drove to Birmingham. But you will spend more in gas. So I prefer Farley.

Best prices in Alabama . And they weigh everything in front of you and show you that scales before they put it in computer. Stay away from the scap yards that takes your items behind a wall or inside a warehouse and make you wait outside. I've worked at many scrap yards and the ones that don't weigh your items in front of you shaves a few lbs here and there. But not Farley recycling they are one of the last honest yards left I drive a hour and a half just to get there. I pass many scrap yards on the way and keep on driving all the way to Farleys.

Friendly people who are helpful and fair about pricing.
They close about noon on Wednesdays and on Saturday and are closed on Sundays. They pretty much accept all forms of scrap metal and their scale is accurate
