I work from home. Like today and other days the power just randomly goes out?! Now for me to get logged back in I have to jump through many many hoops! It’s not right! Not sure why the town is expanding when it’s obvious the power grid can’t handle what’s in town now! Ridiculous!

I can say this is the most dysfunctional company I have ever experience to establish power. I completed the paperwork online to what I thought would make the process a tad bit easier. I received an email that my account was established and I had to pay a deposit. I am good with that. I received an email stating they attempted to call me to establish fiber but they could not leave me a voicemail as it states that my phone went straight to voicemail but she could not leave a message. First, that was weird as every other person is able to leave a message. So I called to attempt to get someone to install fiber, I got routed to every person in the building. They figured it was me so they borderline sent me to a voicemail and did not want to talk to me to hear my concerns. Worst customer service ever. The extensions you can try to use are the following: 3162, 3148, or 3145. Good luck with speaking to anyone that is willing to help you establish any service. It sucks that I went from Oxford Utilities to this company.

Any time the wind blows, the power goes out and on top of that, they raise the prices on utility bills when they're already high to begin with

Easy company to do business with when when you are trying to resolve a problem and not make a bigger one. Just be patient and they will give you everything you need.
If you do the daily pay, they send texts everyday to help you keep up with your prepaid balance. It’s up to you to take care of the bill payment. Simply pay before your 0.00 balance and you are set. They also post date back 3 days so if you are at 0 then you were there 72 hours before so they are actually trying to help and not hurt.

Ms. Lydia Robertson in the service department was so helpful and kind in both of my interactions with her. My first interaction was in the late evening and my 2nd interaction was early morning and she was the same nice personality each time. I would recommend her to anyone for their service needs!

Having viewed previously posted reviews, most especially those of disgruntled customers, I strongly disagree with your negative opinions of services provided by both North East MS Electric Power Association and their agents.

Lydia Robertson is an EXCELLENT representative of North East in the capacity in which she serves within the Customer Service Department. North East, you could have not chosen anyone with greater efficiency. Without fail, she goes above and beyond the call of her job description ... EACH AND EVERY TIME! Hopefully she will remain an employee of your organization for many years to come. SHE IS AWESOME! Were it possible to give a 10-star rating, I would give her a 20-star rating. JG, OB

Started out decent, but their support is terrible. I waited an hour today and never even got anyone in the phone. I thought they would be a better alternative to MaxxSouth, but even MaxxSouth answers their phone.

Update: the last few years these guys have improved a lot. Service is rarely down. I still wish they'd actually update their network status website instead of making me call while the lights are all green, but I guess some things you can never have.
