We take our trash and garbage ? about once a week, and somti.es we have to ✋️ wait and sometimes we don't. Costs less to bring it here than to have it picked up, costs 1 dollars if you have walker County tag.

Had to wait in line like everybody but it's all good the ladies who take your money always have a smile, the guys do their best to keep up with all the trash that we dump and do a good job keeping the area clean, so we don't have a long long wait to empty and leave, I'm glad they are there. Thanks to all that work there, you are doing a great job for the people of Walker county keep it up and have a wonderful day, every day.

I went today for the first time. Went on the scales, went to dump my things and wasn’t sure where to go. I determined I was going the wrong way, so I turned around and asked a worker where to go. He showed me and then when I got to the residential dumpster, some more workers stopped and said I needed to go weigh on the scales first. I told them I did already and they said I was lying. Luckily there was someone else who saw me drive by the first time that could vouch for me. The workers are pretty rude. Only giving 3 starts because it’s cheap.

My husband and I visited the landfill today. It was AWFUL! There area that you back into to unload your garbage was so full of garbage ( in the parking area!) that you couldn’t get closer than 3 feet to the edge. Then the container you were supposed to throw your garbage in was about 3 feet or more from the edge. Being a 67 year old, petite woman, between the garbage in the parking area and the distance to the container, I couldn’t get the bags into the big container. It was absolutely filthy! There is no sense in not having someone with a machine clean both areas up.

Half the time you get there and there's a line back almost to the scale house! Or either they only have ONE dumpster trying to service people ! When it first opened, there was always THREE dumpsters and hardly ever a long line!!! Trash scattered all over the residential drop-off. Had to leave last Saturday due to the line always around the curve to the scale house and BARELY moved in 15 minutes!!!!

Always a great day when you can run by dump to dispose of old sheetrock then head on to get the new to install.. Ladies are great at window and pretty clean to be a landfill..
